Ordered Hole's Anatomy book and received an international version of the book. Upon trying to return I found out that the shipping costs would exceed the value of the book as it had to be sent to Malaysia. However, the book I received was from New York. What a scam!
Ordered ISBN# 9781259690877 on 19th March and paid immediately... then find out you can't contact the business. Sent 4 different messages all under various methods and addresses, requesting a status update - never heard anything back.
Text book finally shipped 13th April after I tried to cancel my order and requested a refund.
Then late April, the wrong book (ISBN# 9781259921315) arrived.
I have published my review directly on their website but you will not find it anywhere - under theír "Reviews" page you can only find false 5-star reviews.
This service seems cheap, but really exists to rip off students.
Hopefully you see this, read my experience and avoid being cheated out of serious dollars.
They show you the isbn of the US book edition and the US cover. But they ship you the international edition which is different and doesn't even have the same isbn number. Scammers
They sold me the US edition at a price much cheaper than Amazon; but instead, they shipped me the global edition. I would have got it much cheaper from Amazon if I wanted the global edition.
PriorityTextBook uses fishing and deceptive marketing strategies to lure people into buying the books. They sell you one thing, but send you another thing. It is criminal.
I had to buy the US edition from Amazon, wastes me 10 days.
I asked them to email me the return shipping label so I can ship the book back to them, I got no response from them at all. I had to go through my credit card company to dispute, and still waiting from them to send the book back to them.
Do not use this company, Prioritytextbooks, Prioritytextbooks.com or ETrading Solution SDN Bhd, as these are the names that appear on my statements. I bought a chemistry book that I needed for the start of class 13 days ago and ordered it expedited. I received an auto-generated email "thanking me for my business" receipt, which looked odd, since it didn't seem like it had enough information on it. The shipping dates were for 3 days after purchase, but after 8 days and my first email to the company checking the shipping status, I received an automatic response to my email showing that a "change of status---item shipped". I didn't even provide an order number, nor did I speak to anyone regarding the confusion--I just got an item shipped update status. After 3 emails total, I still haven't received a followup email from anyone there AND, when I called there customer service number, it was some woman with a 518 area code number! When I threatned to cancel and after actually using my order number this time, I received an instant "item has shipped update and order cancellation" at the same time! Regardless, after checking my paypal account, it did not show a refund and I will be taking it up with Paypal since this company probably isn't real. Very shady. BUYER BEWARD, DO NOT ORDER FROM.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WISH I WOULD OF READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE I MADE THE PURCHASE. THIS IS 100% A SCAM!!!!!!!!!! THEY NEVER ONCE SAY YOU ARE ORDERING THE INTERNATIONAL EDITON OF THE BOOK. THEY SHOW THE U.S. EDITION WITH THE CORRECT COVER AND EVERYTHING, YET THEY MAIL YIOU THE INTERNATIONAL.
THEN THEY SAY WE CAN RETURN IT FOR FULL VALUE, BUT WE HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING. THE SHIPPING VALUE EXCEEDS THE ORIGINAL COST BECAUSE THEY WANT ME TO SHIP IT TO MALAYSIA. I SPOKE WITH THOMAS LIM VIA EMAIL WHO TAKES DAYS (AND I MEAN MULTIPLE DAYS) TO RESPOND. I AM STILL WAITING FOR HIM TO GIVE ME A NUMBER I CAN SPEAK WITH SOMEONE THAT CAN ASSIST ME IN GETTING MY MONEY BACK.
I WISH I WAS ABLE TO GIVE NO STARS BECASUE THEY SERVICE IS BEYOND TERRIBLE. THOMAS ALSO TOLD ME THAT IT SAYS THEY ARE SHIPPING THE INTERNATIONAL BOOK BEFOR YOU CONFIRM THE PURCHASE, BUT THAT IS 100% A LIE.
Priority Textbook scams students by offering less expensive textbooks. When you seach for an American textbook via the ISBN number, in my case 978-0-0780-2405-4, you see the picture of your American textbook and you think, hey I just saved $10 more dollors on textbooks. When the book arrives it is something totally different, in my case ISBN number 978-007-132621-6. Of course the unsuspecting student looking for a good deal gets ripped off right as classes start. You don't realize it until you receive the book at the last minute and your university says that is not the right book. What do you do? You go back out and buy the right book at a much higher price. Then you contact the retailer and ask for your money back. There is another catch, the seller will not pay for return shipping. I repeatedly sent request for a refund, on the fourth email I got a response about how international textbooks are almost the same and American can use them email, an attempt to get me to keep the book.
After a few more emails back and forth I finally get a return address from Priority Textbook. When I tried to send it the book back, it cost more to ship than the book cost. I tried online shipping deals but Malaysia is one of the few countries that does now allow credit card payments for shipping. It prevents you from using discount shippers like parcelmonkey.com, which I tried for the first time and that is how I learned about Malaysia's credit card policy. I sent another reply to Priority Textbook requesting a return shipping label, they replied back their customers normally use USPS. Here are the messages :

yes this is my first time using priority textbook. I am well within the thirty day return time frame. Your "international" and various versions are misleading and unfortunately I cannot use this textbook. Having the lowest price is not the only requirement. Please provide the RMA and other information required to return this textbook. Maybe next term priority textbook will be the textbook store I can use. This time it is not. Thank you for understanding my position and urgency.

It’s a SCAM don’t order ANYTHING from this company
They intentionally send the the wrong version of the book, and when you try to return it you have to pay for shipping out the country but the book came from New Jersey. Complete rip-off
I purchased a text book from Prioritytextbooks in good faith that it was the text book I was using for my class. It was listed as a new hard cover 11th edition of Campbell Biology normally a $200 book, but it was on Prioitytextbooks for $79.99, so I bought it. When the book arived it was a used soft cover internation version of this text book. It cost them $6.50 to ship it from New York.
When I contacted them to ship this book back, they gave me a shipping authorization to ship it ot Malaysia at a cost of $92.00, a cost of more than I paid for the book. The other issue is that book was used as it had notes written in it.
I had to file with PayPal and I only got a partial refund because Prioirtytextbooks said they would refund money upon reciept of the book. In this case something was better than nothing becasue even if I sent it back, I most likely would not have recieved my money back because of the condition the book arrived in. It was in fair condition at best.
I purchased a book from Prioritytextbooks, I printed out my Order Summary for 1x Business Communication Today (15th Edition) Courtland L Bovee, John V. Thill $69.00 Subtotal, Shipping $9.50, Tax $0.00, Total $ 79.49, and the picture of the book is even on the summary, the same one that I am using in my class.
The book I ordered is not at all what I ordered and the Total was way off, more to the sum of $100.00 even. Came through International Air Waybill, shipper Angie, Etrading Solution with Malaysia being the Origin of manufacture.
I ask to have the book returned and get my money refunded to me as soon as possible. I'll see what actually happens.
