Started as a company driver. Made over 3k miles a week. Became owner operator and it all went away. I was not in the black until in the middle of the second month. They dispatch your loads. They control your income. They keep you down so you never get out of a hole. I had only 1 good check the whole time I was an owner operator. They lie to your face. Sweeten the deal when your a company guy, then they starve you out. They tried to manipulate my first company check. I called them on it and it was fixed. In the first month your in the hole 5502. At that 4 th week they hit you again. They make sure you stay down. You get a load and after you accept it they tack on extra stops that take 24 to drop. You lose money sitting. Then, they tell you to drive 800 miles in a day. If you don't you pay the price. I have all the emails text messages to prove it. I am a whistleblower. So, when DOT comes knocking on their door I will give them up. They have falsified log pages that I didn't write. I have kept all of mine.

They will scam there drivers, I know because i used to work for them for 7 months, i was scamed out of new tires i had put on, the money was taken out of my check i have proof its on my payroll as deduction with the date it was deducted, unfortunitley its going to take a while to get my money back from them, please dont drive for them they will take full advantage of you. this is what they did to me. when i went to orientation for them and got my in truck, my tractor it had bald recap tires on it and the check engine light was on, and the DEF system had been deleted. come to find out its illegal for them to sell me a epa certified clean air tractor that had been modify, which voids all factory warranty that was on the tractor that they said it was covered which is a lie. i know because i had a problem with the tractor from day one, which i have proof from my phone with pictures and vidoes with the date on them and time, i kept records of everything showing all text with them about this tractor that i signed a lease to buy. i knew this was i bad deal, but i was over 1500 miles away from home with 200 dollars on me, i figured i could make this work, i know im a great driver with 30 yrs and 2 million plus miles of safe travels under my belt, with a clean and safe driving record been everywhere driven in all kinds of wheather condition in and out of all major citys across the USA. so i drove as a company driver first, which they took a deposit from my pay which was 1500.00 not only did i have to agree with this they also took what i made them as a company driver for 5 weeks. not only did it take them 5 weeks to get me home to houston to get my world for my tractor, they acted like the didnt care if i got my stuff in the truck or not. so i finally get my world in my tractor they get me back up to chicago to sign my lease agreement. as i would come to find out after i bring my world with me back up to chicago that i would being paying for the last month trucknote tractor and trailer insurance cargo insusrance etc. on the tractor that i had to be a company driver to begin with, so basically from the start they have taken 1500.00 for a deposit, the 10,000 dollars that the truck made for the 5 weeks i was a company driver, they also wanted another 5500.00 for last months note and plus next months note for the same amount 5500.00, so i was started in the hole 11,000.00 the first day as a owner operator. plus what they scamed out of me as a company driver.

i figured i could push thru this after all i know how to run and make money. i went everywhere they wanted me to go just show me the money, and they did the second month i made over 18,000.00 dollars in 3 weeks running for them, i got my self out of the whole they put me in by taking advantage of me. im a numbers guy i keep tract of everything, miles what it paid how much fuel i spent on each load, i keep tract of everything, after a month as a owner operator they fired my dispatcher which messed with my money alot after he was gone, i tried to push thru, let just say who they have in there office cant speak english that well, and are assholes to there drivers and freight brokers, they think they know how to get loads and what it takes to deliver the loads, but in all truthfullness they have no clue, they have pissed off all the good paying brokers and are left with low paying brokers that you are stuck with, because they will not let you find your own great paying loads because they have already burned that bridge with them, then they will get mad at you because you talk with the broker they had pissed off and sweet talk yourself back into there pockets to run there freight but Prime Logistics Corp says no you cant because i went over there heads, where in my contract does it say i cant find my own loads it doesnt, thats when it started to go south they got mad because i could do i better job then they could in finding me my owned loads that paid alot more than they could ever find for me, and where i was going was only benefiting them, not me as a business owner.

i had put on all new tires and shocks all the way around this tractor had the front end fixed and alighned which where taking from my payroll check i have proof of all the deduction and the dates, i went a total of 3 months all together with no check to pay my bills or to live off of, finally a had enough its time to partways with them, so i ask them to pay me for tires i put on that tractor and went months with out a check to pay for them, what did they say i owe them money, so i kept my last 3 runs total of 3gs log sheet of my last 4days of my logs, im sure they will forge and replace the ones i didnt turn in, but iknow for a fact that they were going to get audited by DOT in december so when there log doesnt match with mine log book they are going to get into trouble falsifying documents.

Prime Logistics Corp is a terrible company to work for and they have no clue how to run a company that is honest to there drivers, and they wonder why they cant keep any good drivers to drive for them, i have filed reports with the Attorney General of Illinois, DOT, Better Business Bureau, i have tried to get a hold of them by phone, txt and email with no response to settle this issuse, they must be scared of me because im a united states citizen and there not.

Great company

I never sit, very good and consistent miles with great pay. Good people, equipment is meticulously maintained, great home time depends on how long you stay out, love my 1099 because I am allowed to deduct everything including per diem so my returns are good. Been here almost two years and not thinking about switching to anywhere else.

I have been through 5 other companies in my first 3 years as a driver. They all promised alot but delivered very little. I have made more money, driven more miles and have had more home time consistently for the last two years with Prime Logistics than with any other company.

First off the company is shady. They don't tell you from the beginning that even as a company driver you have to pay a deposit on the truck. They wait until you fly in or get bussed in to Chicago (you have to pay for it) and you start orientation to inform you of that so at that point you're obligated to comply as most guys need the money and can't afford to just go back home. They tell you they deduct it from your first two checks. The deposit for company driver is $1000 and for lease purchase it's $1500. I did both lease purchase and company driver with them. On lease purchase I couldn't make money. They say they pay you 90% of the total rate on Facebook but their costs of everything like truck, trailer, Insurances, ifta, etc all cost way too much. I was far in the negative even time I got paid. I went home one time for a week after being out 8 weeks and it took me 3 weeks to get a positive paycheck after that and it was only $64. They say that drivers gross $10,000/month or more on Facebook. That's laughable because I never came close and I had to run illegal to make sure I made any money one week. Then all they run is the north east and they make the lease drivers pay for tolls which is understandable but it's expensive and the loads they give you more often than not don't give you enough time to go around the tolls. Oh, and if you're late to deliveries, they take $500 off the load.

They gave me a load that couldn't be done legally and they charged me for being late. So I switched to company driver. Paid 52 cpm for all miles and they "require" you run 3000 miles per week. They can get up pretty close to that I'll admit it but again it'll likely require you changing around your paper logs to do it "legally", which I refuse to do. Then if you don't make it on time they punish you for it by making you sit for days. I'll give you an example: one day I delivered to a delivery in Edgerton, WI around midnight. Delivered it smooth and took my break at the delivery. The next morning at 11 they assigned me another load that picked up at noon in Chicago. Well I was two hours away do I couldn't pick it up on time obviously. So I got there late but here's the kicker. They told me the city it was going to, which was coal township, PA but they didn't send me the delivery info. Well after the pickup was made I got the delivery info. It delivered at 5 am next morning over 800 miles away. I didn't get out of there til 5 pm now after starting my day around 11 and I had 12 hours to go 800 miles. Quite naturally I couldn't make it on time legally so I needed to be rescheduled. Couldn't reschedule til Monday (it was Friday) and I was fined by the company $500 for late pickup and late delivery. Now that was all as a lease purchase driver. I got tired of the BS so I switched to company driver. Things were good on that until I had medical problems.

They had consistent miles (if you don't mind running northeast including NYC) and things were good but i had some blood work done when I was home and got a call from my Dr about needing some treatment for it. So i had to take truck to Chicago and fly home (I would've taken the truck home with me but it was like pulling teeth to get home to California) flights were cheap so I flew. Upon my appointment with the Dr I found out bad news and couldn't come back on the road. Well that initial deposit they take from you is to ensure you give them a two week notice before quitting. I couldn't do that so they kept the $1000 deposit. Now also, I had damaged the bumper before that. I hit a deer in Massachusetts and messed it up. They didn't care and it went for months like that. Suddenly now they care and also refused to give me my final check because even though I was a company driver they had to charge me for the bumper. So they took my $1000 deposit AND my last check. If they took my deposit for the bumper but gave me my last check I'd be OK but they took the deposit for not being able to give them a two week notice and then they took my final check. I'm still battling it with vlad, the company manager. What they do and how they run their business is highly unethical. You've probably seen their adds plastered all over Facebook now, as that's their primary advertising source. I've given them plenty of opportunities to make it right and now the labor board is involved and it's still dragging on. The money can be pretty good at times but everything else is no good. Highly shady and very unethical as well as trying to coerce drivers to run illegally. You're welcome to give them a shot. I'm sure you've seen their ads in Facebook, their number is 888-919-8181 and they advertise all over the place. If you do though good luck just beware.
