We were excited at the prices and overlooked the hotbox as we commented on how there was no air in the summer time making it very uncomfortable for the workers as well as the customers. This should've been our first sign. We'd purchased almost 3k on furniture for our new home and the rep wrote the the delivery date on the receipt. We would be off work on that day only to be told days before the delivery date that they wouldn't be able to deliver it until the day after we'd scheduled. It is important to read the contract and not be blinded by the low prices. It was only after we went back and forth with them that we realized the contract does not honor refunds, delivery dates, not responsible for stolen or damaged items, and does not set up upon delivery. None of them will explain this so it is very, very important that you read the fine print. This is a money hustle and does not have the customer in mind. I loved our rep Amina. She was really awesome and patient and I hope she finds somewhere better to work with air conditioning. With her sales skills she deserves better. The manager was a jerk but her awesomeness overrode that and we chose to move forward. This place defies all OSHA rules and gears nothing toward the service of the customer. We will never recommend this place to anyone and definitely will never shop here again!
I purchased a 2 piece living room set from this company on February 22, 2017..when it was delivered on the 24th I didnt have a chance to inspect the package before the delivery guys left..When I finally got help cutting the big boxes open I noticed there was water damage to the sofa, cracked leg and a scratch on the couch. I contacted customer service, which is extremely hard to get through.The girl name Keisha, who was ghetto as hell, told me to send pics to this cell phone and they sent me a second set..this set the couch back was too short to fit in the base..I sent more pics and the sent out a "repair guy" who looked like an alcoholic said that the sofa was defective and it needed to be replaced I received a 3rd set on March 10, 2017 and the delivery people made sure it fit, which it did however I didnt notice that starting from the bottom of the back of the couch, there was peeling material and it looked wrinkled like it to had been water damaged.
I contacted Keisha again and she said that they would not send anyone else out to pick it up and that if I brought it back myself they would give me store credit or I could pick something else I have since filed complaints with the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission, The Attorney General and Im about to sue them in small claims court..I wish I could upload the pics..STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!
Company Trying to Rip me off the warranty on a brand new Ashley Furniture, Sales person claims furniture comes with full manufacturer warranty, couch is broken after less than 2 weeks of light use and Price busters Customer service Representative says They are not responsible, and asked to contact Ashley furnature, Ashley Furniture consumer affairs also claims The warranty only goes through the Sales point which is Price busters, Neither want to help on a $2300 piece of broken furniture, Although I haev proof of warranty from both, No one is claiming responsibility and leaving me off with a lemon.
I emaild Pictures and videos to price busters about this issue based on their request, they claim that they cannot help me because I did not purchase the extended warranty, In which sales person at the time pf purchase said it is not necessary and any problems will be covered by manufacturer warrenty, which is a lie and misleading to the customer.
I am not asking for money back, I am only asking for my legal warranty to be honored and for my couch to be fixed, It is broken on one side and clearly a manufacturing structural issue.
I recieved my receipt for payment and salesman confirmed that he would be wrapping up the couch and putting it in the back of the location ready for me to pick up on the 30th. When my husband arrived on the 30th they said they had sold my couch to someone else! Are you kidding me and on top of that they give my husband another couch I did not ask for or like and it has scratches and dents all on the bottom of it. I am very unsatisifyed with there service and demand a refund. Very unprofessional business and I would never buy anything from them ever again I will be planning to sue if I do not receive a response for what happened.
I bought a box spring and mattress from Price Busters in Forrestville MD. On 2/10/16 62 days ago. I now have an infestation of bedbugs, I called Price Busters and spoke with a miss Ashley who basically told me and my wife to kiss.
I walked into this store for the first time (their Capitol heights location) on Saturday 12/5/15 to purchase a dresser for my daughter. The sales associate went to check on the price for the one I picked out since I didn't want the set just the dresser. He came back & told me that the manager said its $299 but I could take it for $200. I agreed, paid & completed the sale & was supposed to pick it up at the Baltimore location on Monday 12/7/15. On Sunday morning (12/6/15) the very next day, I received a call from the store manager telling me the price was incorrect & I had 2 choices: 1) pay an extra $99 because it's actually $299 OR 2) go back to the store to get a refund of the $200 I paid I explained to him that according to their receipt "all sales are final", the transaction was already done & if he had a problem he should be taking it up with his employee not me. I'm filing complaints with the BBB & giving reviews about their company.
