When I was on vacation I hired them to feed my cat for two weeks. I paid them their fee of $590 dollars. During their 'meet and greet' interview they agreed to come to my house once a day to feed my cat wet can food and to refresh his bowl of water. I signed the contract at this time.
When I returned after two weeks my beloved cat was nowhere to be found. I was so worried about him. This company doesn't provide customers with their phone numbers so I couldn't call them, while away on vacation, to see how my buddy "Fluffy" was doing. The only way to contact them is through email.
I later found my cat slumped over in my bedroom between the nightstand and my bed. He lost a tremendous amount of weight and his food tray and water dish were both empty. It was apparent to me that he had starved to death. I was horrified. I was crying. On my way to the vet hospital I called their main number but it's an answering service. I wasn't provided with their cellphone numbers. At this point, all I could do was to email them with the word "Urgent".
I waited 2 days for an email response. They didn't have the decent courtesy to call my phone. To my horror, the cat sitter failed to show up. The owner, Kalle, screwed up the dates. My cat went without water or food for 2 weeks. He suffered dearly. I miss him so much.
This company didn't take any responsibility and directed me to read a clause in the contract which stated, "all customers hereon indemnifies the company of all injuries, up to and including death of your pet".
I have spoken to two lawyers and they won't take my case. I want everyone living in the Dallas area to know about this terrible company.
David and Kalle McWhorter are the owners of this company and were outright negligent. I am disgusted with both of their attitudes. They are both greedy, non-caring, money hungry, selfish individuals.
