This company is horrible. My household funishings have still not been delivered. I was quoted one price and it doubled after they loaded the house in their Enterprise rental truck, even though I had listed the same things they loaded. They promised a pick-up on 11/22/17 with a delivery on 11/24/17.
Frist the truck that picked up my belongings was a Enterprise Rental Truck, not a Presidential moving truck. This is the reason I was doubled charged. They had to hire local movers to rental a huge Enterprise Rental truck to pick up my stuff and delivery to a warehouse. Then Presidentail when ready would pick up my stuff and delvier as required.
I was called Fri. 11/24/17 and I spoke with an Ann. I was already angry so I told her I did not want to here excuses as to why my stuff was not delivered as promised. She told me they would deliver on Sat. 11/25/17. I had paid the driver in full on Wed. 11/22/17 and she told me they could not take my check and she would tear it up and email me a picture of the tore up check. I said no I trusted them not to cash the check. Then she said I would have to do a bank wire transfer of the total due on Mon. 11/27/17, I said okay. She proceeded to tell me my stuff would be delivered on Sat.11/25/17 and she started to explain why the driver was delivering late. I told her I did not want to hear it, I just wanted to know when the driver would be by. She said she would tell me then let me go. She said they would be by Sat. 11/25/17 to deliver, but, now she said I would need cash or a money order on Sat. for the full amount. I got more angry because, she just told me they would take a wire on Mon. 11/27/17, but now she was iirrated with me so she go vendictive and she said I now had to have cash or a money order on Sat. 11/25/17 to give to the driver. I asked her why she was changing the terms. I also told her to verify funds in my bank of the check I gave to the driver on 11/22/17 for full amount and all the funds were in my account for the check I gave the driver on Wed. 11/22/17. She said the driver was not suppose to except the full payment only 1/3 of the total. Then she said she was
"GOING TO PUT MY STUFF IN STORAGE UNTIL I CALMED DOWN." When she threatened me I lost it! I told her to never threaten me and if she put my stuff in storage to keep it, but, she would never see the money for this delivery and then I hung up. She then called my sister Rae, which was a secondary number on my contract. My sister said no problem deliver the stuff on Sat. 11/25/17 and she will have the money order. Then my sister called and told me. Then I called and spoke with a Jessia. I said my sister does not make my decisions. I am the owner of the house and paying for the delivery. I asked for the owner's name she didn't know any of the owner's names, then I asked for a manager. She said the only manager was the Ann the person who had threatened me. I advised them to deliver my stuff on Sat. 11/25/17 and as I was informed they will have their wire on Mon. My sister and I discussed the situation after I hung up with Jessica and I told my sister to call the CSC, and Nick our CSR to let them know she will have a money order for the driver on Sat. 11/25/17. Between us we called upwards of 10 times asking for a return call and confirmation they would deliver on Sat. 11/25/17 and they would have the money order for the driver. No one called us back and my stuff has still not been delivered. It is now Sat. 11/25/17 @ 19:07. Additionally, my sister got a hold of dispatch today and she wanted to know when my stuff would be delivered, they said they would call her back; no one ever called back. We have phone call logs from both of us showing all the times we called asking for confirmation and a return call. So at this point I do not know if I will ever receive my stuff.
No one will call us back so I have no idea where my stuff is. I have no ideal when my stuff will be delivered to my house. Again, my sister and I called all day and no one will call us back. I tried calling and I blocked my number so their caller ID could not see it was us calling. They do not take calls where the numbers are not displayed. Therefore, I only left message in vain. There telephone service said they do not take calls from unlisted numbers.
Monday morning 11/27/2017 I am calling and making a complaint with the Attorney General of Texas and advised them how Presidentail Moving is holding my belongings hostage, because, their feelings got hurt because I was angry with their lies, lack of service, and charged double of the quote they gave me. They should have also told me Presidential movers would not be picking up my stuff, but, local movers using a local rental truck. These local movers over charged me, but, my hands were tied because they had everything already in the truck and it was closed so I could not see how much space I was actually taking up. Additonally, I had to tell the main guy to load several items he had hidden and not loaded, such as a lamp in the bedroom closet, a 8X10 rug, and they ran out of room for the rest of my stuff, such as a desk, dresser, and many more items. The three movers left their trash all over the house. They left empty tape rolls through out the house which I had to clean up and throw away. They left their trash around the house which I cleaned up. I was not going to give a tip, but, the lead man said a tip was necessary, because I was so tired and just gave him double what I was quoted and did not want any trouble from, because I was by myself I thought about giving a tip. I asked how much do I tip, he said $50 each, I only had $160 so I gave them the money and then I proceeded to clean up after them.
I will continue the complaint to let everyone know if or when I may receive my belongings
