I downloaded a program called reimage software that was recommed by my email server, AOL. This software was supposed to clean up my computer files. It would not work as it was supposed to. So, I phoned the number on the reimage software. At that point I was connected to some one in India who got control of my computer, downloaded PC Shield. I kept asking how much this would cost, to no avail. After Preium Tech Support had finished they had charged my VISA $299 that says recurring on the receipt. I told the man on the phone I did not authorize this charge. Especially since it said recurring on the reciept for $299. The man on the phone said it would not be a recurring charge. However, it still says this on my receipt. I am challanging this charge with the VISA company. In addition, the PC Shield did not work to protect my computer.

In the phone call, premium tech support transferred my call to a place in Canada This company repaired my computer and installed McAfee Virius Complete. They charged me $149.99. for the software and service. The company in Canada said the charge of $299.00 would be credited to my VISA. My VISA account has not been credited with the $299.00 charge. The company in Canada said that PC Shield does not work. This is why they downloaded McAfee to my computer.

Premiumtechie support is a rip off. They do not completly clean up the computer, and their software PC Shield does not work. They are high pressure sales people on the phone.

Don’t trust them

Basically, I was too silly, last year November, I received their advertising saying that I got really serious problem about my laptop, and then I phone them, let them control my laptop from a software, at the end, that charged me £549!!! It’s not finished yet, a few days ago, they called me again, and charged me another €699!!! When I realised, it’s too late! I shared my experience because I don’t wanna anyone make the same mistake!

LARCENY BY TRICK COMPANY

My experience is very similar to the previous victims. They sold me a protection package for $59.00. They charged my VISA card. Then the scam started...they filled my computer screen with pages and pages of all the "Viruses", "Hacking Attempts" and various other real Bad breaches on my computers security and even more "Major Infections". They then told me that it was going to cost me an additional $699.00 for the required cleanup. They charged my VISA card a second time. I asked to just cancel everything....they said I couldn't do that, and to "complete" their work, I needed to pay another fee of $441.00. I refused to pay, and they got real surly and intimidating .... actually got mad at me......saying "to bad", and that I agreed to their fixing my computer. There were at least 5 people working me over on this scam...all from India or who knows where....all spoke terrible English. Each agent would pass me on to another "Manager" or person of higher rank....

The "Trickery" comes when they "TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR COMPUTER"...to make their required upgrades. You're in big trouble when that happens. I tried to log off immediately....but they wouldn't let me. They had my computer under their commands. I had to unplug it...to get away. My Credit Card company says they'll enter a "claim", but insist that I provide them with documented proof that they didn't fix my computer. Told me I needed a second opinion as to what they did or didn't do. Just a complete let down.....by the people who were supposed to help me... "No bigger fool, than a Old Fool".

This company is a large scam organization... Multiple high pressure sales people...Continuous intimidation and changing of the facts, services offered and the final cost of their services. They started out at the agreed upon fee of $59.00. Then through trickery and deception...They added an additional fee of $699.00. They charged my credit card for both those fees. Then told me that i owed them another $441.00 cost to finally "complete" my order.

Company is a scam!!!

In October 2018 I purchased service from this company for $450+. I've had my identity stolen, unauthorized purchases, etc. My bank is looking into them. hopefully I will be able to recoup some, if not all, of my money. BUYER BEWARE!
