Premium Seats USA Reviews
They claimed I was purchasing a "VIP Package" - that we'd have a special dinner, VIP-list/access and SEATING IN THE FIRST TWO ROWS. NONE of this was true. The dinner was terrible, we looked like idiots because we were NOT on the VIP list (and were provided these fake, bogus lanyards) and our seats were in the VERY LAST ROW.
We'd spent over $2K on this experience for my birthday and was nothing but dissappointed. Since then, I've tried contacting them mutiple times, but have not received a response. I found their CEO, Jimmy Siegendorf, via LinkedIn and he has not responded - SO INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
So, I've opened up an investigation and have contact multiple consumer protection agencies because this company/these people SHOULD NOT GET AWAY WITH SCAMMING CONSUMERS! I saw on your site several instances of this regarding this company and I'm not surprised. I hope this informs the public on what a SCAM this company is and I really hope someone will hold them accountable!
I called to confirm that the tickets on my phone would be easy to use and was told there's no problem. I was told numerous times that there would be no issue. Got to the game and was removed from my seats by the stadium staff and taken to an office. After much confusion about the tickets and us missing two innings of the game the situation was rectified.
I called a few days later due to the fact Premium Seats advertizes that customer satisfaction is guaranteed. I complained that I missed 20% of the game and was terribly incomveinced. They refused any type refund or compensation, I was told management would contact me. Well, have not heard a word from Premium Seats. I would never purchase anything from them again and would advise anyone to stay away from Premium Seats.
I placed an order on March 28, 2018 for a pair of U2 tickets in Chicago. I did have to contact my credit card to make sure that the transaction went through (fraud alert - expensive tickets), but after a few minutes (7 to be exact), I confirmed my order through the Premium Seats web site and received a receipt email from Premium Seats USA.
Their email stated that I would receive another email that would give me instructions for accessing my e-tickets. There was also a link provided where I can check the status of my order. I checked the link daily to see about the ticket status, but every time, the status provided was that they were working on the order. No big deal, right? Well, on April 2nd, I checked the status, and read an apology: "Sorry, we couldn't process your order". What?!
I called Premium Seats directly to inquire about my order, and was informed that they were unable to secure the tickets from the seller, and therefore could not complete the order. They claimed that their system stated that the customer (me) was notified about the cancellation of the order on March 30th (I neither received any email or voice mail from them about this), They offered to find me a replacement pair, but only quoted me pairs of seats at almost double what my initial pair was purchased at (can you say 'bait and switch'?).
When I inquired about their 200% customer satisfaction guarantee, the gentleman I spoke with stated that the guarantee only kicks in once the tickets are secured, and since they never "secured" the tickets, there was no guarantee.
Nevermind that I would not have found out about the order falling through without calling THEM to ask about it. I purchase tickets to several events a year, and now know that I should never buy tickets through Premium Seats USA again. I would advise others to also avoid Premium Seats USA, unless you want to experience a similar letdown and irresponsible attitude.
I made a purchase of 3 tickets this morning for the Lion King in New York City, I chose a wrong date as I'm flying from San Diego and wanted to cancel in a matter of minutes for making purchase. I was charged over $600 worth of tickets and I was told by Andrew my purchase processed within 90 seconds, I had called minutes too late.
What made the website comforting and reliable was that it says 200% money back guarantee, which is an absolute lie. It's terrible how companies can get away with these type of things, now I am stuck with $625 worth of tickets I cannot use.
I really feel devastated, this is mean and greedy from their part. My show is not days away it's weeks away and nobody is helpful in any way.
