Premier Tax-Free I have been a visitor to the European Union multiple times, and my tax-refunds have always been a smooth experience with companies like Global Blue. However, my experiences with Premiere Tax-Free have been disappointing. In October 2017, I travelled to Germany and purchased a watch. I filled in the Premiere Tax free forms, attached the original receipts (stamped by German customs) and then visited the Premiere Tax Free counter at Frankfurt Airport. A bored-looking lady said that if I wanted a refund on my credit card, I should drop by documents into the mailing box (located diagonally opposite to her). I did that, and that was the last I heard from Premiere Tax-Free! I never received my tax-refund even though it is April 2018 now!
Again, I visited Germany in March 2018. A bored-looking gentleman (who was playing games on his phone) said that if I wanted a refund on my credit card, I should drop by documents into the mailing box (located diagonally opposite to him). This company seems to systematically target tourists and with-hold their tax refunds. I suspect an employees' scam where they file our tax-refund requests and transfer the money to their personal accounts.
I am thinking of filing a police complaint on my next trip to Germany. Can someone from Premiere Tax Free's vigilance department please contact me?
