I received an email inviting me to be a secret shopper for Premier Service Solutions, I had to provide my name, address, email and they would send me a check in advance of my services. I thought it sounded like a fun way to gain extra income so I emailed my information to them. After about two weeks I received the following email...
"Dear Brand agent ,
How are you doing today? Sorry for the delay in your evaluation this email serves as a notification that your work starts this week as we received a notification from our Account Dept that payment has been mailed to you via the United States Postal Mail,Do confirm email once payment has been received as further instructions shall be emailed to you tomorrow morning confirming your work and again sorry for the delay."

The following day I received a hand-written envelope from Michael Williams, 207 South Prospect Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33756, with a check inside for $1,088.00 - nothing else. The check is typed with Pay To The Order of "me" from the Wachovia Bank, NA, New York, NY 10001. I then replied to the above email that I did receive a check in the mail, and shortly after I sent I received the following response.... "Hello We are very happy to that finally you have received your payment via POSTAL MAIL from RARE also from the WACHOVIA BANK.Proceed to your bank this morning and have payment deposited for 24 hrs then make an instant withdrawal of the funds so as to be able to proceed with your assignment as a Survey Agent. All you need to do is visit any Wal-Mart,Best buy,or the closest store around and carry out your evaluation by recording any flaws noticed during your shopping at the store. Deduct $200 as your pay /Commission and $100 shopping costs for your survey/Shopping to be spent at the Wal-Mart by purchasing anything of your choice making it the sum of $300 you will be deducting tomorrow as soon as you have funds in your possession.When you are done proceed to the Walmart Cash Center using their WALMART TO WALMART services. Please have it at the back of your mind that no staff of the store you are evaluating should know you are a Survey Agent.You will write a report about their customer services then you will send us your report via email , you are to use the following pointers to prepare your report." POINTERS & INSTRUCTIONS 1)How long it took you to get services. 2)Ambiance/Outlook of the Shop/Outlet. 3)Smartness of the attendant. 4)Customer service professionalism. 5)Reaction of personnel under pressure. 6)Information that you think would be helpful. 7)Your comments and impressions. "Below is the Vendor whom you shall be transferring the rest of the funds to so that he/she can continue with their evaluation .Note WALMART is going to charge you a token fee for sending funds, also deduct the charges from the funds you have with you before sending funds to the Vendor." I did not follow the emailed instructions nor did I cash the check, however, a few hours later I received the following email from Paul Jim . . . "Hello 'My Name', do confim your Evaluation Status.Thank you" I did not reply to the email, then 30 minutes later I received another email from Paul Jim with subject PAYMENT STATUS (CONFIRMATION NEEDED) . . . "Hello Brand Agent, How are you? do confirm status of payment if you have recieved it as of today.Looking forward to your reply." I intend to take it to the authorities and report it on every scam website to warn others NOT to cash the any checks or provide personal information. I hope that I am lucky enough to keep Premier Service Solutions from contacting me ever again.
