I got a recorded call from 904-497-0056 saying that this was a Processing Center and that they were trying to deliver a package. It said "Press 1" to schedule a delivery.
I pressed one and was immediately connected to a Justin Daniels. He said they were trying to deliver legal documents regarding a delinquent $1,000 Pay Day loan that I had taken out in 2012.
They asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my social security number. The numbers were incorrect, as was my address. They then offered to settle the debt for $200, so I wouldn't have to go to court.
I told them that I'd be happy to go to court, as I never took out a Pay Day loan. They hung up.
Valerie from Premier Processing phoned me to say her office had been hired by attornies to have me served with summons of felonys from non-paid pay day loans. These cannot be mine as pay day loans are not legal in Oregon. This loan occured on 2/23/2011. I am a 100% service connected veteran. Please help
