Have you wondered how Carfax gets your private information? Carfax purchases the information from vehicle repair shops, body and collision shops and the insurance companies.
On Friday July 12, 2019 a black employee of Precision Body & Paint of Bend 61530 S Hwy 97, Bend, OR 97702 admitted that Precision actively engages in data mining.
This exceptionally arrogant black employee stated that it is their right to violate your privacy. It is all about reputation.
In the United States both the Superior Courts and the Federal Courts both have a viable cause of action for Invasion of Privacy.
A Cause of Action if a legally permissible reason to sue somebody. Hey we can all use more money.
United States law states that all citizens are considered private entities and entitled to privacy. Exceptions are movie stars, politicians and big mouth attorneys that can’t keep their mouths shut.
This writer has successfully sued insurance carriers, attorneys, private investigators and other idiots that mistakenly believed they had some special immunity.
Carfax pays these idiots peanuts for the information and is no different than a dirty tabloid newspaper.
Have your friends pull a copy of your Carfax. Then sue Carfax and all of the information providers for Invasion of Privacy. It does not matter if the information is true.
Save those receipts. Make sure you were not tricked into agreeing to waive your rights to privacy.
Unless you were stupid and explicitly gave them permission to violate your privacy you are in the money. All you need do is find a competent attorney that will not sell you out and do the deed.
The Federal Court is my favorite as the Federal Courts are reluctant to reduce and set aside a jury verdict.
Companies that violate your privacy are entitled to a good attitude adjustment.
You might as well take their money in the process.
