Not only did this company rip us off, I now believe they did it intentionally. The service we ordered was a Press Release distribution with "100 Guaranteed Placements," and a list of the websites where we could expect to see our Press Release. And let me be 100% crystal clear that I've worked with dozens of Press Release companies over the past 10 years and KNOW the difference between a "Guaranteed Placement," and a mere submission.
The language on their service page was clear, and we even called and asked them before ordering just to make sure. They also promise to deliver the service within three days of ordering. So, we ordered their service for $300 and sent them ALL the required documentation within the first hour. Then we waited. Nothing. 24 hours later, we sent them a reminder email asking about the status of our order. Nothing. After another 24 hours, we sent them another email. Again, nothing. This continued for five days. Finally, 7 days after we'd ordered the service, they sent us a jumbled up PDF document with about 40 links, most of which were broken. That was it. So, when we asked for a refund, they responded with a "sorry, our refund period expires after 7 days message."
When we disputed the charge with PayPal, this company did something I've seen very, very few companies ever do. They lied to PayPal saying "The service was delivered in full and in a timely manner." They also cited their 7-day refund policy (which was hidden about 75% of the way through a nine-page "terms of service" agreement. The problem is, PR Distribution (https://www.prdistribution.com/) purposely waited out this 7 day period by delivering the service after we'd emailed them non-stop for a week. On top of this, they actually EDITED a section of their service description the day after I filed the dispute with PayPal. Long story short, their lies earned them the $300 in spite of the fact that they basically ripped us off for it. Maybe I should have demanded a refund on day three, but I had no idea this company would be willing to do something so slimy and dishonest. PLEASE do not use this company!
There are better ones out there who will happily refund your money if the service isn't what they advertised it as. I know. I've worked with a lot of them. Unfortunately, PR Distribution (https://www.prdistribution.com/) has no integrity, a lousy service, and zero commitment to customer satisfaction.
