Warning! I will not purchase this product again.
Purchased my Power XL Air Fryer Grill in February 2021. After using approximately 30 times the heating elements stopped getting hot. Oven doesn’t heat to temperature. I understand this product is outside the one year warranty but in my opinion it should last more than two years.
I called PowerXL customer support and was told that there was nothing they could do. Just a scripted response from the customer care person. I asked to speak to a supervisor after being placed on hold another person came on the phone claiming to be a supervisor and just responded with the same script “the PowerXL Air Fryer grill was outside the warranty period and nothing they could do.
Explained to them this grill was like new condition and that they should stand by the quality of their products. This PowerXL Air Fryer should last longer than 30 uses.
After doing some research and checking reviews online I discovered others that had the same problem with the heating element not working. The heating elements stop working just outside the one year warranty period. Told them I’m more then happy to return this defective oven for replacement so they could investigate the cause of the defect. Customer service continued to just repeat the same script. “Nothing they could do it’s not the company policy to accept anything outside the warranty period”. This seems to be a common problem with the Air Fryer Grill and the company will not replace my unit.
