I purchased a rebuilt transmission on 7-13-17 from Powertraindirect. After installing it, we had to wait for the core department to get notice from the trucking company that they had picked up the core. I called PTD every other day trying to find out why they hadn't got notice of the pickup. They just kept on stallling. I paid them the same day I ordered the transmission. Now it seemed like it was going to take some time for me to receive my core check. After many, many calls, threaten to call my attorney, asked them politely, they just kept on stalling. The company would tell me that the core department was another company in itself. The core dept, when I called, I would have to leave messages. After leaving many messages they would call back. Then the person would not know anything about this problem. After going thru the whole spill again, they promised to look into the reason why they have not mailed my check.
Well today 9-21-17 I was told that the check is in the mail. Haha, i will not believe it till it gets here. This has consumed my life for quite some time now. If I would have known this I would surely gone to some other company. This is what you call sorry quality control. Please, be careful of these people. Like many other companies on line, they just don't seem to care much about the customer.
