Myself and husband wanted some recent pictures of our children. We were at cartersville walmart and saw portraits advertisement and thought it would be nice to do. We figured it would be fairly cheap, hence their advertisement..... The photographer did a great job with out boys. He kept the calm to take pictures.... He took four pictures... One of each of them and two of them together. We were told to pick to our photos on December 6th. When we arrived we were under the impression we were just picking them up.. We didnt know which pose or photo we were obtaining. They walked us to the back and showed is all the wonderful pictures. We were showed the one lose we paid for. The gentlemen said that we could get more But it would be 99 dollars for 3 poses... Had we been informed beforehand that we were going to have to pay more for our children's pictures that they took we would've brought money with us. Since we were unaware we didnt have any extra money for more pictures. I asked what will they do with all of our children pictures and the man said they will be sent back to the company and destroyed. That is just senseless to me. The pictures were already printed. Why do such a thing.... I will never use a place like this again. I feel I have been scammed.... Maybe if they explained the while situation beforehand we would've been able to get them all. But them trying to scam people into getting pictures is not the way to go. I hope for my children's safety they will destroy them. I just think its a waste of our time and theirs....

Fraudulent review!

First of all, this company doesn't advertise, does not charge $99.00 for three poses, and would certainly never do anything to endanger anyone's children. This is a slanderous post by the jealous competition.

My family pics

This is my 2nsd year doing bussiness with this company. My family did a photo shoot last year and again this saturday. Last year they charged me 80 for all of my pics and everything exept the cd. They were great cant beat the price. People were nice and my kids were happy. No complaints. Cant wait to see how this years turned out.

I had family photos done by this company. I couldn’t even find a website that shows this place is a legit business. I had paid for a photos to be taken an when they came out the photos were just heinous. I mean someone with no experience in photography would have noticed all the errors the photos i received. I can understand if one pic was bad but no... All pictures where bad. Simple things too like everyone had someone with their eyes closed. Not wrinkles in the clothes. Family members oddly spaced out in the photo from each other. One photo they tried to sell me had one person mid blink one person with their eyes closed an another one had someone with their mouth open like

They are talking. Just bad quality. Bad business. Complained to the manager an all he could do is say i could switch out one of my photos i had already paid for with another one of my poses which i didn’t like any of them. I’ll never give them my business. It’s a scam buyer beware

Took my money

I took pictures with the last year, paid them off and now a year later $90 was removed from my card. I was at line to get grocery and my card got declined. I checked it and they did 2 transactions totalling $90 now I have no food for my kids.

Completely unprofessional

So this guy stops us at Walmart and talks me into getting pictures which I wanted to get anyway because my wife has never had professional pictures done so I thought it would be a great thing to do the first time with her. So I paid the $15 charge showed up today for pictures brought the $8 sitting fee told me the pictures will be done 2 weeks from that date and to my surprise when I go online to look at my pictures I find out the website is shut down and both numbers on the flyer they gave me no one answered and mailboxes were full. I am so pissed off that I waited to see the excitement in my wife when she saw the pictures let alone lost out on $23

Scam

Don't worry - this company is a total scam. They CORNERED my husband into buying pictures.. first they didn't tell him that he had to pay upfront. Then they went through the whole scheduling and booking and FINALLY the guy asked for credit card information. My husband and I have to BUDGET everything but the guy told him that he was already booked and had to pay upfront or he would be charged a cancellation fee for the full photo shoot. So my husband just gave his CC information. I was told that I was going to get an email confirmation before the actual booking - no where was there anything given to us stating that there was NO REFUNDS. I had called the company to cancel and get a refund and they stated that there was nothing I could do - and they really were rude, didn't care that this was FORCED upon by a pushy sales person. we did not get the information we needed... and when I told them that they were scamming us she tried to flip the script and say you are rude, your husband tried to do a nice thing for you and you are just throwing this in his face, if you don't take your pictures you won't get your money back. ASSHOLES to say the least.

Wish I would have been warned!

I was stopped at a Walmart and took the bait. Paid the $15 then $8 at seating. There was only one person working. We were told we could pay the $8 in cash or card but we’re told only cash once we showed up. The man was nice but rushed through everything. We weren’t allowed to see the pictures that he took. Showed up two weeks later to get the photos and it was all a sham. They took the worst pictures and told us those were the ones included I asked to switch one out and she of course lied and said it was different paper and she wasn’t allowed to. Then she tried telling us that it was $500-$200 to get the other pictures. I wish I would have looked up this company in the first place and saw all the horrible reviews. I never would have given them a cent. It was a complete rip off and amateur photo session. I will never use them again.

Bad Experience

Long story short. Everything was good up until it was time to pick-up the photos. I took pictures with my son who was only a few months at the time. He had slob on his mouth in which the photographer could have at the least said something. That of course was the free photo.

Where I am upset is that I did not have the freedom to choose the pictures I wanted. I did some negotiating but the young lady STILL gave me the photos that I did not want at all. I was in such a rush in trying to get to an event afterwards that, I realized I was ripped off. Through the negotiating process she agreed to take out the bad photos (ones I didn't like) completely BUT she did not. I'm livid typing this, but you know what...I have learned my lesson and will not be doing business with them again. Thank you.

Compitition???????????

If this is how you handle your poor customer service maybe the customers should just call Wal-Mart's corporate office so they can get taken care of. Your Portraits USA LLC company used to be called United Studios of America . you guys used to pull the same scams then but it all caught up with you, after hundreds of Attorney general fraud reports, non payments to your accounts, F BBB ratings, bankruptcy, and you guys would blame the competition then as well, same people same scams.

DO NOT BUY OR DO BUSINESS... Extreme unprofessionality by personnel and supervisor is plain rude. My family pictures were scheduled a week after the date we were originally told the pictures would take place. I called the supervisor and she told me " no one is working there today" so we went and found out there were working. I asked for a refund once we got there with the receipt, and got told no refund sinse the guy that sold me the pictures in the first place was not there today. I called the supervisor and pretty much got told im a liar because she told me that she said it was the photographer who is not there today ( imagine that). My wife got a refund but it was not until she asked what were the names of the people working today.... Pretty shady to say the least
