While leaving Wal-mart, I was sold a certificate for having a family portrait taken. I told the photographer I need the photography taken at the Military Hwy Wal-mart in Norfolk, VA. The photographer picked the date of November 4 at 4:30 pm at the location I stated.
When we arrived to have the pictures taken, the Wal-mart employees said the photographer wasn't there that day, and they didn't know which store he was at that day.
I called the company on Monday, but was told I could not get my money back. I explained that they did not provide the service they sold, and I was told I should go to another store in another city today (without an appointment) to get photographed. I told her I couldn't get everyone together on short notice and just wanted my money back. She said they do not give refunds under any circumstances. When the photographer told me he only accepts cash, I should have walked away. If I could have put this on credit card, I would get my money back with a call the the credit card company.
I will be telling Wal-mart about this ripoff and suggest they end their association with this ripoff company.
I walked into Wal-Mart on august, 2 2017 in Fayetteville, north carolina where I live. I was approached by a black yall guys name leroy, he told me that he was a photographer for studio mac and asked if I was interested in taking some family photos i said yes. I set up my appointment for Sunday evening at 6:45pm August 6th. When me and family arrived there 35 minutes early there was no photographer present only a table and some photos.
I asked a Wal-Mart employee if they had his number she said no she tried calling other employees to ask if they saw the photographer they all said yes he was here but he left for the day. I was told that the 20.00 is non refundable I am hurt by this and upset because my family wanted to take some pictures this needs to be investigated please because nobody deserve this treatment thank you .
