I was hunting a very special gift for a special event for my daughter. My daughter asked for a mini cooper for her graduation gift. I refused to buy from an unproven or shady car delaership. so I went to Jim Ellis Porsche. I bought the car that had less than 41,000 miles on it. My daughter drove the car for about 6 weeks and the car broke down. So far I've spent about 2,000.00 in repairs for less than 5,000 miles driven. I paid for a car at their asking price and I expected R.O.I. on my investment. I reached out to Jim Ellis and I was informed that I bought this used car "AS-IS", and that it was tough luck, and that they would not be able to help me. You would think an owner of a multi-million dollar company would fix a "Lemon" they sold my family. Buyer Beware, I would highly reccomend not to buy a car from any of Jim Ellis dealerships, they have no customer service, and they willn't give any type of allowance for faulty merchandise. In my opinion, and after I've tried on several attempts to reach a fair settlement, them pay for 1/2 the repairs, my specail gift for my daughter has turned into a money pit, and a great dissapointment.
