I recommend shopping anywhere else! We were customers of Pool Water Products PWP years ago and stopped going. We were called by Blake Allred for several years to please "try us again" we capitulated and started sending a few of our employees. Approximately 18 months ago we requested one of the managers to setup our account where the pool cleaners could not purchase more than once per week, and limited one specific cleaner to $250 a week in purchases. Blake Allred agreed and stated he spoke to the counter help and everyone was aware no cleaners could purchase more than once per week. We had stored on file a debit card and continued to have voluminous debits from PWP, inquired about this several times.
Just last week I requested 2017 invoices emailed to me for the last two weeks, then the year. Just in July 2017 PWP breached our agreement and allowed one pool cleaner to come in and purchase ELEVEN times!! What should have been $800 in monthly chemicals PWP counter help allowed this ONE worker to spend $2300!!
Additionally, Drew Starr, who clearly works there because he's family, screwed up more orders and avoided having him take our orders, Drew allowed someone named Adrian, not affiliated with our company to purchase on our account, and debited OUR bank account. It's not his money, why should he pay attention to detail?? I messaged Blake Allred, one family member of the owners, who began ignoring me after writing back" Drew needs to pull his head out of the sand. I'm sorry about any inconvenience." I asked who the agent for service is, no reply. I emailed the president Dean C Allred of Newport Beach who did not reply in a timely manner so we cut ties with PWP and closed our account.
We purchase from several suppliers and they lost a $200k a year customer and I will be sure to tell EVERYONE our experience. But for the fact PWP did not do what they were asked this would not have happened.
On a side note we terminated the pool cleaner and have filed a police report and plan to go after him. PWP holds a legal level of culpability and I will likely sue them too. When I brought this to the attention of Brad Leahy he had his usual attitude of indifference and frankly its not his money or problem so why would he care. Our experience with PWP is this is an UNPROFESSIONAL company, incompetent counter help, especially the family members!, unorganized. The reason we stopped buying from them years ago. Deplete parts warehouse, seems many items that should be in stock were special order, they had the audacity to charge for shipping.. why do I have to pay for you not stocking normal industry parts!! The low skilled counter help often messed up orders, wrong parts, doesn't listen, wrong quantity...
