The managers are rude and unoprofessional. They dont care about the customers or even thier employees. You text the Manager Jaqueline Salinas and she doesnt respond to you. She yells at the employees all the time. there are no trianing skills for new emploeyees. They have new emplyees trainig the ones that just start.almost all the employees have left and the ones left are under paid and over worked. taking it out on the customers.
It is way too stressfull to work there. they complain about us giving too many sauces to the customers. they dont give us breaks, they dont let us eat. Some employees have even fainted for over working and not esting. They have out me out in the hot sun for hours taking orders. the customers have even complained on that. A worker by the name of josefa refuses to wear her mask at times, and shes had covid already. She even tells customers to put thiers on, but she doesnt wear hers. She is protected by jackie because she is jackie's eyes and ears. Shes undercover when all we do, is work work and work. she plays her music and eats whatever she wants.
when others of us actually work and have to pay for our meals. Pollo tropical gives customers food after falling on the floor. Managers have dropped raw food on the floor and pick it up and reuse it. This is against the law. it is unsanitary and they should not be allow to be there. they curse and yell and are unprofessional. Jacqueline, talks to her husband on the cell phone a lot and fights with him and we all find out. Why is this permitted?
Pollo Tropical charged us for an online gift card but never delivered it after many promises. They have a message on the gift card support portion of the site to call them, but when you do, they tell you that department is no longer in service. There is no method of getting in touch with a team that handles this area. We called numerous times and spoke to several people in the corporate office, including the corporate director, who we were told was let go from Panera Bread, to working for this smaller company. He couldn't resolve it either. No one was rude, but there wasn't a support team hired to handle any concerns. We tried everything to work with them, to get the gift card, but they would not supply it and wouldn't refund it either. If you are planning to purchase anything from this company, go in person. They may be in some type of financial crisis because they operate on a shoe string support staff. We lost some money, and glad it wasn't more, but will never eat there again. We are in the process of filing an additional media report in Miami to publicize it, since we are concerned others may suffer the same loss.
