They lied about their results-Jake is a con artist
They lied about their expertise. The ads they run are ineffective and they have no strategy. I paid in advance $3,000 and did not get one customer. I will say that the people on customer service are very nice, but I wouldn't say effective.
I told them upfront I didnt think FB would be right for me and they still pushed it.
When I saw that I wasn't getting any good leads due to horrible FB copy and ads, I tried to pivot and sell a different service, because I wanted it to be successful. Nothing worked. Not one client, despite ad buys at $25 a day, which they promised were enough and would work. We moved to Google and no results, either.
They tried to blame me as changing things up to much. Note: I wouldn't need to change anything up if you were getting results, would I ? The fact that I had to change up my efforts is because you had no idea what you were doing, and I was trying desperately to save this situation and MY Business!
When I complained, Tony Cruz got on the phone and tried to make excuses. It's 3 months later and no ads have run for 2 months, but I'm still paying.
I've asked for refunds multiple times since I'm not working with them but I get a "no" we don't do that.
I asked to find out what markets they were using for the ads, and they hemmed and hawed, when I asked to see the ad copy they told me they couldn't show it to me. Tony told me it was because they were afraid that I would steal the copy and start my own agency!!! What a ridiculous statement.
When I finally reach out to Jake Randolph, the owner, and a guy who promotes himself as this former military "do-gooder" man of faith, to tell him I want a refund, he accuses me of blackmailing him when I tell him I'm going to give a review. He proceeded to insult me personally and say I'm difficult and he'd "heard bad things about me" to justify his unethical tactics...I'm difficult because I know strategy... and I know when I'm being lied to and ripped off... because I have expectations based on the lies you told. Laughable.
In the last 2 months, I have spoken with at least 7 women in the business who have the same story about working with PMU Marketing and Jake Randolph. This guy and his company PMU Marketing need to be outed as the scam artists they are.
