PMI Coaching Reviews

My Husband, Mother in law and I went to the Pasadena Hilton May 17th, to attend Stores on Lines Seminar, we thought we really found a way to add to our income. By the End of that Seminar- they had 5200.00 of our money, we left there thinking Positivly- that this was a legit company. We own 6 sites,Because of the promise of a dedicated Customer Service- Help every step of the way They told us about all the money we were going to make- this was with their help A Win Win Situation. My Mother in law two days later could not figure out how to develope the site- So she tried the live chat-no one answered her, she sent another, their response was they were too busy, The CD-Rom what a joke-it is defective, it doesn't show you anything. She sent another, telling them what she thought after spending her money with them- she got her reply, they were having some one call her. they Did 10 days later, PMI called, and high pitched us,Telling us they wanted to use us for their Success Stories- 17 Coaches which meant they could only do 17 Success Stories. By they time they were done- we were giving another 8519.00 They were going to develope three of our websites, give us quite alot for our money. But we had to give them the money Now- they didn't want a check, they insisted on Credit Cards- which had to be paid at that moment. The next morning I decided to look at PMI in the Seach engine of Aol- I found this site, and a few others, to my horror I discovered all these complaints, We canceled this 8519.00 imediately. They called back and did everything they could to try and change opur minds, they tried to stalled on the return on the Credit Cards, saying it would take 5 to 6 weeks. But we had already called The credit Card Co's and found they were in a 72 hour hold, but my mother in law disbuted them. so far we are out 13,719.00-but I intend to get every cent back! This company needs to be closed down,And All who belong to SOL need to go to jail, and I am going to make this a goal. I want them to go to jail, for ripping off thousands and thousands of people- destroying their dreams, destroying their hopes, and destroying their faith in Trusting and Believing. I will find away to get my money back- but I am not stopping their-I am writing to Kent Nelson at the Utah Division Of Consumer Protection- here's his #801-530-6601- he's preparing a case against them now!!- Contact your Attorney General, Talk to the News. Let's show them what we are really made of!!!!! ================================ Oh yes, This company seems to have a lot of problems helping people get their sites up, but I found a Stores on Line White Supremist Site Called StormFront.org-which caters to hate. In your first Agreement (yellow paper) you get before you attend the second Seminar, there is a clause in Line 9, telling you about what is not acceptible, adult material, hate, solitiation of anything illegal, Hate sites, well guess what SOL host this site? I watched an infomercial late one night on t.v. for Dave Espino's Auctions on line on E-Bay. He was selling 5 books on how to start your business on E-Bay...plus he would send you his latest book....Beyond E-bay....which was about setting up your own web page. I ordered the books and about a week later received a phone call about starting my own business on the internet. First a man called me from Idaho Falls, ID and was very friendly and gave me a pretty good sales pitch...then he had another man call me from Utah. He was very persuasive and really fooled me...and he told me that if I wanted to be a success and really make lots of money they could show me how...but...I had to agree to sign up right now because they were limited on their coaches. He then told me what they had to offer....gave me his 800 number, his E-mail address and proceeded to ask for my credit card number. He said the whole thing would cost $6,999.00......I should have known then that it was a rip-off deal...but these guys were so friendly and acted like they really wanted to help me be a success. I had to charge the amount on two credit cards. I should have realized something was not right because I talked to about four different men before they set me up with Dennis Wright..who told me I could call him anytime..he was there to help me....Also...he would call in a couple of days with some bank names where I could get a lower interest rate on my cards that I charged the money to. To make a long story short...no one called about the bank cards..and it was very difficult to ever get anyone to talk to..when I did...they were h*o hum...we will get someone back to you...the coaching sessions (only had two) were a joke. I thought (or perceived I guess) that they would set up the web page...they would give me information on products, wholesalers, dropshippers, etc. ha I had to spend more money to get a drop shippers list and more money to get some worthless information on what products were the most popular.....then I discovered that the dropshipper I chose did not have the product I was interested in! Before my 30 days was up from charging all this money I called Dennis Wright and told him I was cancelling....he said well they would keep 15% of my money...for what I asked...for the coaching he said...oh so you are charging me $1,500.00 for two 30 minute worthless so-called coaching sessions...he was not very nice! I have contacted my credit card companies...they contacted him and finally one card was paid back for $3,400.00 but they have not refunded the other card for $3,500.00. I am a widow living on a small income..which I told them in them beginning...and oh they were so caring and wanted to help me. Well I have sent letters to the Better Business Bureaus in their towns and I am going to get a lawyer if I have to. By the way.... I am sure that StoresOnline is the same outfit just using a different company name...because they are using PMI Coaching and Links 4 Trade also. Carol Nyssa, Oregon

I am joining the rest of this group, I have the same dilema. Attempted to work the for free 100 leads given, to no avail. Received 2 mentoring calls and they've stopped. The two calls I received were pretty much sales calls. The mentor kept trying to get me to buy more leads and told me to compile a list of 500 business to contact and he would tell me what to do with them the next time he called. I Requested a refund and was refused because it was 35 days and the refund must be requested within the 30 day. There is no way to know if the business they promise would be successful in less than 30 days if they are requiring you to do mostly homework for the first 2 weeks of the mentoring program. Let alone it took the mentor almost 2 weeks to make the 1st call to me. I have never received any information on my promised website that I would have access to. The leads promised or the Newsletter I paid for have never been give to me either. I now have a useless program that cost me over $5,000 If anyone can give me info on who to contact above a rep to get a refund it would be appreciated. DD DD Round Rock, Texas

Be warned pmicoaching is a scam! I paid pmi coaching $4000 dollars to build my website market my company and provide coaching but everything they promise is a big lie. After two weeks I realized they were full of bull. I called and ask for my money back but they refuse to take my calls and when I leave messages they never respond. All I need is my money back from this ripoff company! Ernie edgewood, Maryland

We were invited to attend a dinner thru the mail by Storesonline.com at a local Holiday Inn. After the dinner was completed, a presentation was made about all of the benefits of owning your own website. We explained to the staff of StoresOnline.com that this would be difficult for us since we are not savvy. We were told that this is not a problem for Storesonline.com because they do all of the difficult work with their highly trained staff. Therefore we purchased their minimum package of what we believed was three established websites offering goods and/or services. A short time after the purchase of the websites we were contacted by Mr. Gordon White, representing Stores Online-PMI (Professional Marketing International). After a lengthy four hour phone conversation, Mr. White convinced us that our purchase of the three websites would require additional assistance for the setup and management of the sites. He also convinced us that his services would be a must if the web sites were to succeed. A month alter, we are still trying to figure out where the stores are or/and how to set them up. The so called coach pointed us at yet another site belonging to them which sells lists of product distributors, this leads me to believe that they didn't only charge us about $ 10, 000.00 for a lie but they are also still trying to get more money from us. We received no help or assistance from either Professional Marketing International or Stores Online. Therefore, we are seeking ways to get our money back. Sue Weehawken, New Jersey

PMI Coaching has misrepresented themselves to us as consumers. After they got there money and the first week it was great, then I was put on the back shelf. As a business they do not provide the service that they advertised. After paying 7300.00 they should be able to provide me with assistance... not that I want them to do the work for me, but I am not a consumer that can be taken advantage of. I have the right to be respected and not to be taken advantage of. I am currently seeking council, so that I will not be the only one taken advantage of. I called them several times politely to speak to them, they never responded, the minute I get angry and tell them that I will be calling my attorney, they responded immediately. I purchased David Espino's "Auctions for Income" package in February and was subsequently contacted by PMI to provide coaching tips that would "enhance my selling techniques". The sales rep for PMI pressured me into making a hasty decision and investing $2,980 for this coaching program. According to the rep, my business would genterate enough money to cover the monthly charges on my credit card....uh, no! I have yet to make enough from this program to make even one credit payment. I never even received $495 worth of the material and it's now 8 months later! After I completed my 12 mentoring sessions, I still felt very unequipped to run a successful business. I put a lot of hours into trying the techniques I was taught, but they just didn't work. I agree whole heartedly with some of the other reports against PMI. If anyone pressures you to invest thousands of dollars over the phone for a product you've never tested...it's fraud. I hope this report saves an innocent consumer from becoming another victim....Don't Do It!! Michael Peoria, Illinois

I am doing now, early in the morning, what I should have done in the beginning: namely researching the product BEFORE I buy it! I can't sleep because of the stupid decision I allowed PMI to talk me into. I am 67, retired, and existing on SS and a very small pension. To make ends meet, I recently took a patt-time cashiers job in a department store. I too was looking for a way to add income and "Auctions for Income" looked like a good deal. I like the internet and have sold some items on eBay, it sounded good. "Auctons" actually delivered their merchandise; I mention them because that led directly to PMI calling me. PMI called to see if I "qualified for their super seller program" where, if successful, I could be featured in their "Auctions for Income" promotional ads on TV. Believe it or not, I am not TOTALLY STUPID, but the salesman was VERY PERSUASIVE. He asked me financial questions that allowed him to zero in on just how much credit card debt I could incurr. Then I was handed off to a second person for the "closing". (I remember thinking that it was just like the old days of buying a car where they two-teamed you with the salesman going back and forth to "consult with his boss" and get a better deal for YOU") You CAN get all the information PMI offers FOR FREE from eBay! Wish I had known that sooner. THIS IS DEFINATELY A SCAM!. The entire object is to find out what you can pay and then get you to commit. In my case it is $4975. What did you agree to pay????? Dave's favorite web-site of Products (Premier Products) do not have much variety of products and they definately DO NOT SELL ON EBAY!!! I can't sleep, I am in terrible debt on a fixed income, I need out!!!!! I'm ashamed to let my children know how very stupid their Mother was as they already worry about me. Has anyone successfully got out from under this committment???? Beverly Sunbury, Pennsylvania

Please see copy of letter sent to president of company: august 6, 2002 mr. Steve thorne, president professional marketing international 791 east 340 south american fork, ut 84003 subject: refund of unsatisfactory services and product dear mr. Thorne, as president of a company that provides services and products to consumers, i cannot believe that you would run a company that rips consumers off and employs rude and smart mouthed employees. My husband and i have been dealing with boyd dennis in your company. As a man that represents your business, he does not make a good impression on you and your company. Your customer service department is a joke. How can anyone get a refund on a return if your customer service department and the people you employ do not return phone calls? Please leave a message and i will return your call. Why have voice mail if you call someone, tell him or her you want a refund. Their thing to do is ignore the voice mail message. My message was heard and screened. They heard refund. Let's ignore it and screw the consumer. Is this how you operate? I even called the whitney education group whom you represent. They did not even return any of my phone calls. I received a letter from your so-called customer service department. They did not even identify themselves in the letter. What's up with that? The only person i spoke to was someone named becca. She couldn't even help me. I don't know. This popular phrase must have been implemented in your company. The mentoring program you provided covered everything already taught in the russ whitney seminar. The software you provided was second hand material. One cd was taped onto the inside of the binder. Another cd has a big scratch on it. Was this returned from another dissatisfied customer? Now you can have mine back and sell it to the next unsuspecting consumer. From these two web sites, they will see my dissatisfaction with your company. I want my refund for the re software package. I want my $2495.00. I want my refund of the balance of the mentoring program. I want my $2800.00. I want a refund in the amount of $5295.00 and i am not joking. I will file a complaint with the utah better business bureau. If i have to hire an attorney, write a congressman, a state representative, or a state senator, i will. Please refund my $5295.00 as soon as possible. I will not be a consumer that lets people like you and your company take advantage of me. I will not roll over and play dead. We are talking about $5295.00 of my money that is owed back to me and i want it. Tracey morgan city, louisiana

Were told that they would set us up an online business with a website and would coach us on how to get it going. Coaches were a joke. You had access to online coaches you could call but there was always a 20 or 30 minute wait because of exceptionally heavy calling. If you did get through they would only give you so much information and were always in a hurry. They also have online classes to teach you SEO and lessons with questions at the end to grade yourself with. Said we could be making money in two to three weeks which was an absolute lie. There is no way you can learn how to do SEO in that amount of time unless you have had prior experience. When we signed up for this I called and cancelled within the three day period you are given but they said I didn't but later said I did and gave us a 6 Month guarantee or my money back which I still have. Didn't work but they claimed I didn't fulfill the requirements. No way you can fulfill this course to get your website picked up by the search engines unless you are an expert in the SEO field. Even one of the coaches told me that and I had at least 4 different ones. I gave up on getting my money back because when you talked to the manager (Steve Tolley) he would just promise you it would work if you would just try. I still have the website and haven't tried doing anything with PMI for two or three years. They always told me not to let anyone else help me that called about my website. They have never called me or contacted me to see if I needed any help because they had my money and it was up to me to figure all this out. There is a lot more to tell but I just wanted to report them because I feel like they ripped me off around Seven Thousand Dollars.
