Plow & Hearth ran an advertisement that if you spend $100 you will get a $100 gift card. A coupon code was given. The last day of the promtion was November 2, 2017. On the last day, November 2, 2018 I went in to the Fredericksburg, VA store and spent $126.31 on merchandise and provided the coupon code for the $100 gift card. I was told that in 7-10 days, I would receive a coupon code for $100 via email. I was also told to check my spam folder during this time.
2 weeks passed and not code. It is now April 25, 2018, almost 6 months later. In that time, I have communicated with the local manager approximately 10-15 times. She has taken my name, called corporate, emailed corporate, sent my information on numerous occasinos; each time telling me to keep an eye out within the next 7-10 days. I've checked my emails and spam folders. Nothing.
The manager did discover for some reason I had 3 accounts. She was able to isolate the account that should have gotten the discount and again contacted corporate with no avail. This was probably around February, 2018.
This is not the first time this has happened. A few years ago, we went through the same dance for a $50 gift card coupon that took months and several queries to get.
PLOW & HEARTH, DO THE RIGHT THING AND SEND ME MY $100 GIFT CARD!
Several times last year I received emails stating if I ordered 100 or more items that I would receive 100 gift certificate to redeem on their merchandise. In November 2015 I decided to take advantage of it. Their merchadise is very expensive but with this offer it wasnt so bad. I placed my order and waited patiently to receive it. At first thought it would be in the box but not. After 4 calls and many different lies and stories I still have received nothing. I was told I was already sent it in the email I checked their was nothing. I was told it would be in my email the first part of Dec. Nothing. Then told I would have it the week before Christmas..... Still Nothing Grrrrr. In Jan I called again and was told I used 2 discounts and couldn't have 2. I was told they would look into it farther as all other places tell you during check out oops you can't use both discounts. So I decided to contact them on their Facebook account and am told I was a day late on the offer. How many more excuses are there? I see from another person on here they had the same issue with Plow and Hearth. BEWARE of you will be next. How many people never bother to report these things?
