In my life I never thought I would do something like this but this experience has been so trumatic I don’t feel like I have any choice. I’m not trying to hurt anyone, I’m just trying to save anyone else’s family from going through what we went through.
A month before my sister's wedding we hired Christine Reed from Platinum Image 310-967-7701 we had multiple conversations with her and she seemed very professional on these conversations, very expensive but very professional, so we felt comfortable for this big day. We were at the hotel where my sister was getting married and the first thing is she showed up 45 minutes late for our appointments.
I knew something was wrong immediately. I even thought maybe it was somebody different because her attitude was completely different. She didn’t look good and I’m not saying she had to look "all put together" but she looked disheveled and her make up looked like she had been crying. At first, I felt sorry for her and was being very nice to her but then she demanded that we pay upfront!?!
All of the work that we going to get done the total was $700! My sister is in the public eye, so she does pretty well financially so she just pulled out the cash and paid her to get on with this. Everything changed after that, it got so much worse!
She was talking down to us, making comments about her and her failed relationships and how she was an older woman and that the fairytale of weddings is all a LIE and how she has it OUT for all men. We were just letting her vent while she was getting prepared and then we started thinking, wait a second, is this woman on drugs or what?
She was very fidgety, her eyes were glassy and she kept putting on and taking off her sunglasses. It was very strange. She kept taking bathroom breaks and would come back as if she was sniffing some thing. My boyfriend came in the room once and she made a really nasty remark to him and said that all men are PIGS and they should all DIE.
My sister stood up and said that’s inappropriate and if that’s going to be your attitude please leave because this is a family wedding and it’s all about positivity in here. All of a sudden she changed and started talking and acting professional. That lasted for 5 to 10 minutes, there was already a lot of tension in the room and she asked me if I could get her a small towel which I did.
When I brought it up to her she turned to me and said thank you . I smelled alcohol VERY STRONG smell on her breath. I was so angry at this but I didn’t want to cause a scene and we really need to get these procedures done because this was the day of the wedding. Everything went downhill fast after that!
She was shaking when she tried to start doing my sisters face. My sister asked her if she was OK and she snapped at my sister aauing yes I’m fine let me do my job. After that first snap, I asked her, please don’t forget to give me that receipt for the $700 that we paid you before you leave and I said it in a very nice way.
She stood up and she screamed at me. At this point my sister really got angry and started to cry, she went to the bathroom, I talk to her I told her we had nobody else this was her wedding day to please calm down and just let her do her procedure. I asked Christine to please go take a break for 5 minutes and come back and let’s just get the procedures done, she did.
She came back 20 minutes later and she literally had a drink in her hand. We smelled it it was tequila and we asked her to please not drink while she’s doing these procedures on us and she said fine and put the drink down. She started to do my sisters procedure again first and after about 10 minutes my sister stood up and just started screaming and crying.
She poked her in the eye got glue in her eye and was putting extremely long lashes on my sister when my sister told her she wanted something more conservative. If I didn’t know better I would say that she was trying to make my sister look like a fool. Regardless, my mom is a very quiet reserved woman, but my mom grabbed all of her things put it outside the hotel room and told her to leave we then demanded the money back!
She said I am very sorry let me go to my car and get it. She never came back and she didn’t answer her phone and then when my mom calls from her phone which is out of the area she answered immediately acting all professional. She even made a comment about one of our bridesmaids who is an African-American and she said oh "you people have such nice skin it must be from all the sun in Africa".
This woman ruined my sisters special day, ruined my families day, stole $700 from us and it clearly has alcohol problems drug problems and some kind of mental problem and just to boot has extremely racial issues. I highly highly highly suggest that you STAY AWAY from this person unless you get your money paid at the end of the procedures.
It looks like she does good work and she has a good reputation on her website but I posted a very honest short review on her website and it never showed up so obviously the reviews on her site are probably fake so that’s why I thought I needed to do this to get the word out.
Myself and my family are not the kind of people that do things like this and this hurts my heart to do but it would hurt my heart more knowing that I didn’t do anything and she ruined another woman’s big day like she ruined ours.
The last thing I would like to say is Ms Reed, please get help, as women are supposed to stick together in life and help each other and lift each other up and this pains me to do this however you left me no choice you’re a racist a thief and as unprofessional as they get and even now after so many voicemails that I’ve left you all you do is run from our phone calls or hang up on us when we come from another number just to get our money back. Shame on you Christine! shame on you! shame on you!!!!!!
