I joined Platinum Holiday Club a few years ago. Sure, I was frustrated by the flight discounts being in yearly blocks, so I ended up not using them. However, I have received the $500 investment back in savings, and then some.
Unlike other responders, I have always found the staff helpful and courtious, and ready to assist.
i was called by both platinum holiday club and premium flights companies to be in a club that you pay $500.00 each to join and you get discounted flights for up to $2,000 each and they don't tell you that they will only give them to you in increments of $200 over like 1 or 2 years when you sign up. Most of the welcome letters from the companies go into spam files of the customers and I am sure they do this deliberately to scam and fraud people who will never get to use their free flights they were promised and they always refuse to let you speak to a manager and record all phone calls and the only way they would let me speak to a manager if via their email which lets face it they can easily block me? I have asked for several requests for the manager of platinum to email me or phone me please. and no one has. They told me I had to use up my first flights by april 2018 then the dates kept changing to may 2018 and they told me yesterday i can book the tickets before a date for future use however if i don't use the first I lose all $2,000 of what I paid into with the offer. they openly lie to you when they first contact you, they know customers welcome emails will go to spam and I was wondering why I had not heard from them and I said "if I had known this I could of used the flights last year and my father of 74 years had to be in pain in a train for 24 hours that a flight for 2 hours would have been better for us" no response but bullying continued everytime I asked for help or advice on flights and any customer support was poor. The asian call centre is very hard to understand their engish is not really good and I have trouble understanding them and I not saying this out of racial hate its just a fact. anyway. I have asked for a refund and to revoke my memberhsip. but they are just using agression and avoidance tactics right now. MY ADVISE TO ANYONE IS DON'T COME INTO THESE SCAMS. THERE ARE HEAPS OF FLIGHT DISCOUNTS AND OTHER SITES AND THIS LOT ARE A SCAM. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THE MONEY GOES AND TO RIP OF DISABILITY PENSIONERS AND ABUSE THEM WHEN I HAVE HARDLY EVER HAD A GOOD HOLIDAY EVER IS REVOLTING AND DISGUSTING ABUSE THAT THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR. I HAVE SUFFERED ENOUGH VIOLENT ABUSE AND I AM A VICTIM OF SATANIC OCCULT RITUAL ABUSE AND THESE COMPANIES NEED TO BE TOLD THAT MORALS AND COMPANY ETHICS AND COMMON DECENCY DO STILL COUNT IN THIS WORLD. PEOPLE OF GOD JUST PLEASE PRAY WITH ME THAT THESE SCUM SCAMMERS MEET THEIR PUNISHMENT TO THE WORD OF GOD AND JESUS ! CUZ I AM SICK OF HOW BUSINESS TODAY IS ABOUT "COMPANY CONVIENCE AND NOT CUSTOMER CONVIENCE" GODS GONNA ATTACK YA !
I just totally got scammed by the Platinum Holiday club too.
I joined a few years ago, and every time I tried to call them and book with them, there was a problem. Every time I called the call centre in Malaysia or wherever it was, I was always getting either cut off when I tried to book with them or I’d find a much cheaper package elsewhere.
Today again I tried to book with them and got told that my credits had expired. I then called the Australian call centre to find that the man on the phone was unhelpful and quite smarmy with me. I am pretty well pissed of that I wasted my money on a membership that I never ever got to use.
