I filled out a form on "Montel William's" website called "MoneyMutual.com". The site said, "Congratulations, you have been approved for a loan" and it redirected me to "Platinumcashlink.com". I was instructed to call their number to complete the loan process. The woman at the other end was very vague and talked in deliberatly confusing financial terms. She would not give a simple and direct answer to my very simple question as to how much will I have to pay back for this $400 loan. She said that there was a $120 finance charge which led me to believe the total would be $520. But then she would continue talking in percentages and such and telling me that there are different ways to pay back the loan that just didn't sound right. I asked her to send me all of the details in an e-mail, which she did. It was in the written agreement that I would agree to repaying them $1,504 for that $400 loan. I will forever avoid all online loan sites.
