On September 18, 2013, I signed a contract with Pinnacle Exteriors to replaced the hail damaged roof on our home. Because the speciality shingles were not a normally stocked item, the salesman (Bill Edwards) required a deposit of $14,000.00 to order the shingles. I was advised thay the shingles would be delivered to our home is a short while.
After two weeks, I contacted the saleman to inquire about the shingle delivery and his excuse was that they were encountering weather delays and would get to my project in a few days. This dragged on for a few more weeks, so I called the company. On several attempts the calls always went to voice mail. I sent emails, which were acknowledged but never responded to.
On November 20, 2013, I recieved a phone call from the salesman advising me that the materials for my roof repair were never ordered and that his roofing crew had walked off because they were not getting paid. He advised me cancel my contract with Pinnacle and requesst a refund of $14,000. Phone calls were made (that went to voice mail)and emails were sent to effect the contract cancellation but were. never acknoledged.
When Pinnacle did not acknoledge my request to cancel the contract or make any effort to refund my deposit, I retained an attorney and obtained a civil judgement against Pinnacle. In correspondence recieved from Joe Krajewski, he acknowleged the receipt of my deposit but to date they have refunded only $1000.00 of my deposit. I have not heard a word from them since August of 2015.
Eric Campbell and Joe Krajewski are con men and scam artists and should be taken to task for their nefarious acts.
