We bought a 2004 Volvo from this dealership, they claimed it had no issues and had been in no accidents and it was a completely fine car. We spent 10,000 dollars after buying it from the dealership for various problems that occurred in a few days after buying it.
Essentially, they sold us a lemon - and according to some reviews we didn't see before, they do this all the time. They wouldn't even attempt to assist us after buying the car from them - even if it was a few days after buying it.
My husband purchased a 2000 bmw and specifically asked the dealer (Joe) to check the coolant light he said that he was gonna get it checked out when we arrived he said everything was good . When we left the dealership only three blocks away the light came on my husband went back and they told him that once the car is off the block nothing can be done. Then we find out from jiffy lube that the radiator was filled with water and not coolant.
I purchased a 2002 Oldsmobile from Pinellas Auto Brokers on November 12, 2016 for my son to drive. My son, myself, and the salesman test drove the car and at that time, I was concerned that the car wasn't shifting properly. The salesman assured me that I shouldn't have a concern so I went against my better judgement and purchased the car. A week or so after buying the car, my son was saying how the car was jerking when he was driving. My son and I took the car to a mechanic to get the car checked out.
The mechanic asked me how much I paid for the car and went on to say the car belonged in the salvage yard; it wasn't safe to be on the road; and don't throw good money after bad. Problems with the car but not limited to: mount, transmission, motor, valve cover gaskets, etc.
I took the car back to Pinellas Auto Brokers and asked Veronica who does the paperwork for the manager which she told me the manager wasn't available until that next week. [continued below]....
My daughter and I went to Pinellas Auto Brokers looking for a reasonable and reliable vehicle for my 15 yr old grandson for his birthday. We drove an '02 Hyundai Elantra for about 2 miles and it seemed OK with a few problems. The AC was blowing cold air so the broker charged it. We purchased the car with a credit card and drove out of the business. We only got 2 to 3 miles (about 10 min) and the car was shaking so bad that my daughter couldn't drive it. We tried to put gas in the car but it wouldn't let us and it kept shooting out. The AC was barely blowing any cool air but not cold. We returned to the business and they told us that they couldn't help and we had to keep the car. I told them that I wanted to return it because we couldn't even drive it home the way that it was. They said that's my problem and they would not reverse the transaction. I had no way to even get the car home since it wouldn't run so I had to pay a towing service $164. to tow it over the bridge to where I live. The business was very nasty to me and said that it was my problem to figure out
I paid $2,227.62 for this product. Payment was made by credit card. The name of my credit card is Visa.
I contacted John (salesman) and the office assistant. Also spoke with the manager on the phone. on November 04, 2016, and explained that the product was unsatisfactory. I fully explained that the car would not run and we couldn't even get it over the bridge to get it home. I told her the exact problems and she said that it was our problem because she couldn't do anything. Failure to receive an appropriate response to this problem has prompted me to write directly to you.
On November 04, 2016, I contacted Contacted my lawyer by phone and also filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Consumer Affairs. and explained that the product was unsatisfactory. I explained about the issues with the car and the inability to be able to drive it home. I also explained that I had to pay a towing service $164. to tow the car to my home.
I took the vehicle to my mechanic and it cost $2,095. for him to make the necessary repairs to make the car safe to drive. Numerous lug nuts were missing and he advised it was good that we didn't try to drive it across the Skyway Bridge because we might have lost a tire or worse.
Bought my son his first car here, I did not want to spen much since it was his first and seemed to get a great deal here. We drove several cars and they preformed good enough to make a purchase. He has been using it to drive to school and it has been running great with no problems to speak of so far. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for an inexpensive ride I am very happy with the transaction. Thanks.

That place is a ripoff and any human being that bought a car Frm there and treated them the same way it wouldn't be a surprise if someone SHUT IT DOWN
