We made the mistake of hiring this company to repair an insurance loss. They were to install 5/8" drywall, paint the main level and top floors, install tub, walk-in shower, electrical outlets and lights and appliances.
the drywall that was installed is 1/2". Their painting skills are terrible. They got paint on stairs, railings, counter tops, expensive faucets and outlets and switches.
they poured a chemical down our kitchen sink that stripped the enamel. They used my expensive Amish made dining room suite. Broke an oak Amish made curio cabinet. Tried to back into or garage with their large truck with rails and damaged the stucco above the garage door.
the owner claimed he worked under an electricians license and was a plumber. He wasn't. They lost parts to expensive ceiling fans, cut ground wires for LED lighting and tried to install plumbing fixtures only forcing us to have to have all the work redone.
they never showed up on time and many times didn't show up at all without notice. When they showed up late they would stay maybe an hour or two then leave without notice. They had no respect for other people's property. The quality of the work was haphazard. They left empty cigarette packs in our garage and cigarette butts all over our yard.
they dumped paint in our yard and grout. We couldn't mow the lawn due to all the stucco. When we told the owner he picked up some of the stucco and then dumped it in front of our garage door. When we pointed out that they had improperly installed the backer board in the bathroom. When we asked them to remove it, they did and proceeded to leave all the screws on the floor for me to clean up.
they got paint on switches, outlets, Star rails, granite counter tops and kitchen cabinets. They used the wrong paint type despite clear instructions as to what was to be painted with which paint. For instance, we provided satin ceiling white paint for the ceilings and glossy paint for trim. They painted it just the opposite. When they ran out the ceiling paint without telling us they went down and bought the wrong type that was very cheap paint.
they failed to obtain the proper permits and basically caused us to pay for the job twice.
