On Aug. 31st, 2015, the buyer my house was under contract with, utilized Robert Kennedy from Pillar to Post in Orem, to conduct an inspection. I was out of town until late that same Monday night. When I came home at approximately 11pm, I discovered 1. the A.C. in my house had been turned to 55 degrees and left running at that temperature the entire day, there was actual ice crystals forming under the A.C. unit; 2. Mud had been tracked up my stairs and left after I spent $260.00 having the carpets cleaned and stretched; 3. The sprinkler system did not work, as it had when I left; and 4. there was a gash/scrape in the wall after I spent nearly $2000.00 having the interior painted for the sale.
The next day/Tuesday morning, the owner of Pillar to Post, Jared Fenn, came out to look at the property, and was sympathetic. The owner, Jared, was not there for the inspection, so I do not fault him for the disrespect and carelessness of his employee, Robert Kennedy.
Today, 9/3/2015, Robert Kennedy came to my house to pick up the Radon detector. When he entered, I pointed out the scrape in the wall, and asked if he or the buyer caused the damage. He shrugged, and continued into the living room. I asked if he was going to apologize for the damage, he shook his head no. I told him to get out of my house.
I cannot stress enough the lackadaisical attitude, disrespect, and carelessness of Robert Kennedy as a home inspector. Again, this review is not directed towards Jared Fenn or Pillar to Post, simply Robert Kennedy. Avoid at all cost!!!

A plastic coffee tin lid was attached by one screw to cover a badly rusted area.Some rust was still obvious around the edge of the lid
Such a lid is NOT a standard plumbing fitting!
This was missed by the Inspector and the cost to rectify was @1200
I was offered $280 in settlement by the inspector which I refused
