I contacted Phoenix Area Singles off Internet ad. They wouldn't give me quote for service or membership, had to make appointment which I did. I was given a sales pitch, showed photos of attractive women, and told with selective process would be very successful for me. Contract given me showed price of membership almost $7,000! She left to check with owner, even though she had been there 17 years, came back and said I would get a huge discount for being retired. New price was a little under $3,000. I knew it was a scam but fell for it anyway, maybe a little vulnerable? Came back for scheduled photo session with professional photographer and when done was presented a bill for $400, I thought it to be included with membership. No, she went to owner (as before) and came back with "discount" of $300 Which included other "upgrades". Paid it as I was in over my head anyway. Nothing has happened with getting a date as all controlled thru office, no direct email communication by me to potential dates, and all photos on site are grainy, not professional. I signed contract so no one to blame but me, but I was sure mislead and "ripped off"!
After signing with Phoenix area singles the enthusiasm died. Then never sent me profiles as promised. I have to call and ask them for profiles and what they sent did not match with my request. Was told I would receive up to five profiles per day. That did not happen at all. I had to call and ask for profiles . Received a total of four profiles three of which did not come close to my preferences. They do not respond to emails or phone calls. I asked questions , they ignore me. Two months later, I have not received one date or one satisfying profile for the amount of money I paid. They have broken our contract agreement many times over. I requested a refund from Pat the director and was told that was out of the question. Seriously??
I assumed that since the membership due are extremely high, I can expect a good service.However, the service was not professional at all.In fact, I received just 4 email notifications with 5 profiles and no feedback during 5 months. They did not connect me to anybody. Their website has poor quality content. Very little information is available. They do not allow members to have direct access to other members. I received a lot of promises before I paid money and little or no activity after they received my money. I have written emaqils and spoken to different representatives about my disappointment. The price is very high and does not correspond to the very low quality of their service. If I understand, I'm not the only one to be ripped off by Phoenix Singles. I hope my report will help other people to avoidthis "service".
It is a complete rip-off and scam company. They charge a lot of money abd it is not possible to meet anybody there as they promise when they charge you.
