I’m sorely disappointed in this firm. I hired them to do a simple investigation. They quoted me at a reasonable price (around $300-$500 depending on expenses and unforeseen events they said) but after months of not hearing from them I finally get a bill and what they call “evidence”. The bill was over $10,000! I called them thinking it was a mistake, that someone mixed up my file with another person’s file but when I asked them this simple question all their niceties went out the window. They yelled at me, said if I couldn’t pay they’d see me in court. Funny thing, I asked my son who’s studying to be a journalist to help me and he found all of the same information they gave me online and it only took him an hour. Total and complete rip off. I just want to make sure and warn people to not trust this company!
This company and their ability to sneak in hidden fees while doing minimal work, is amazing actually. If you want to be ripped off, use them for your personal needs. Seriously, my kid couldve done a better job and coat me a lot less money!

Very stupid in their investigation. Did not do as promised but overcharged for it even if they had accomplished what they promised. Brian Bauer lied. He is a thief and a bully I agree with all of the comments above.
It appears that the staff are advised to make converstaion confusing when discussing any questions concerning fees. I am feeling let down, ripped off and more in debt after more and more fees kept appearing on my invoices. What shoulkd have been a $1000 deal, turned into $1800. It was never resolved becaus the staff was rude and unwilling to work with me concerning these questions.
Widows seem to be a very easy target to be taken advantage of with this particular company. Especially the fees that keep increasing with pathetic excuses attached.

Staff cannot answer billing questions
Staff are unable to discuss "fees". They are very rude and defensive when confronted with simple, logical questions.
