Pets4Homes Reviews

I was scammed by an advertiser on Pets4Homes calling herself Emma D from Southampton who sells chameleons and hog nose snakes and geckos. I have been trying to obtain the name and address of this advertiser off this website for some months in order to report them to the police for fraud and they have refused to provide any details. This is in clear breach of s 35 of the Data Protection Act which provides for information to be given without the data subject's permission when legal proceedings are to be initiated. I would strongly recommend not to use the website, as the way they have dealt with my case suggests that they are not concerned that criminals operate on their website hiding behind the anonymity of their website. If you have had a similar experience please complain to the Information Commissioners Office and let them deal with them.

Want a healthy pet? - stay away from pets4homes.co.uk

They 'select' among breeders and not in a good way. As they stated themselves as being a kind of 'free' site they keep up the right basicly to kick anyone out they wish without even a valid/ proved reason. This practice causes that they hurt potential buyers' interest by narrowing the available pets' group and also hurt honest, good breeders, like let them being ruined basicly assisting to this.

Which is the most disgusting for us that they give free-flow to lies of anyone (no name, nothing for you to investigate after who tries to ruin you using pets4homes.co.uk)

And at this point the title would be even:

Wish to get rid of a competitor? Use pets4homes.co.uk , they will do the work for you.

Details, have a look at it please, it worth to read to save yourself in time:

We were banned by them 3 times so far in 3 years.

1: an angry reseller (we do not like resellers and do not give them kittens as we wish to be known by owners for a case if they need our help or advice) tried to make revenge on us like using one of the photos of our beautiful kittens and starting an advert on pets4homes.co.uk that she had bought a kitten with PKD. We knew it was a lie, but pets4homes.co.uk just let it run till we discovered it and openly stated that this reseller here is lying and why she did it. After this, we were banned for defending ourselves while they (who had to accept the advert of reseller previously before it could run) let it run. coincidence? Hangovered, careless admin? I do not think so, but please carry on reading...

We made PKD tests for all of our cats to be able to catch next person behind this kind of lie (and what a suprise, we were completely PKD free of course) but case ruined us, who knows how many people saw that advert till pets4homes.co.uk just let it run ... and remembered us in connection with PKD.

2: last year someone reported us being scammers. We have beautiful, healthy kittens who are easely can become a victim of scammers due to their beauty like using our photos what can be found on internet, saving them and using them to mislead people. In this case someone used a photo of our kittens again in another web site, not even on pets4homes.co.uk , and tried to have a high amount of deposit from people. We were the last ones to know about it, but when we were banned from pets4homes.co.uk (they are very good not to warn you before or even ask you about the matter, and of course they do not need anykind of proof especially if they do not like you for a reason or another... - smells as discrimination). And they kept us banned for a while despite of that we even offered our help like help to the police to catch person behind that scam. pets4homes.co.uk did not even apologize to ban us on an unfair, hurting way, but they threatened us, that it was the last case they let us go back.

Am I right, please, does it smell to you as a discrimination, too?

3: we were banned again 2 weeks ago(!) (interestingly in a time when 'market' is full with available kittens due that mothers like giving birth when weather is warmer while potential buyers are on holiday due to summer-time). It took a week to even reach a single answer from them about the reason. They wrote that someone had reported us selling a kitten with worms and whole family went sick. All this was stated of course without any proof - and a lie again as all of our kittens leave us dewormed. We answered it, and it took to pets4homes.co.uk another week to answering back that they would ask the other party to show proof that they have worm infection - which is a joke again, I mean, even if they had (however we strongly guess that they have not and this lie has no base at all), but even if they had worms - how to prove the source of it? = pets4homes.co.uk deliberately or/and unprofessionaly wasting further time while keeping us banned. An addition to the story that in the time they got this so called complaint agains us, 3 kittens became reserved but did not left us as were to young to go and before that it was some time ago that we offered kittens at all. But who cares about the truth if wish to simply ruin?

And it is getting more and more interesting. We started to advert on another site as premium members.

After a couple of days, an interesting thing happened, admin of that site wrote to us that someone reported us, as we were reported to relocate a cat using pets4homes.co.uk (and not this other web site!) - how interesting that everything lead to pets4homes.co.uk in this lying game, isn't it? - and cat had ring worm AND cat had to be put to sleep. An obvious lie again and not just because I never even saw a ring warm case in real life only read about it (it is a nasty but basicly curable fungi infection and not worm, name is misleading). So why should be a cat to put to sleep because of it? But pets4homes.co.uk looks to be happy to let it go, otherwise they would have asked us before banning and not wasting time now like pretending to clear the case (when exactly?)

But thanks to this site (shame that they have less visitors while being far more professional and helpful than pets4homes.co.uk), we got a nickname (person behind false report) and due to possibilites of internet we went after it. Nickname is Pixiedust, lives in Banbury (or lived there a couple of years ago), her name is probably Carmen, breed dogs and rabbits, have two daughters, etc and according to our best knowledge we never ever was contacted with her, nor relocate a cat to her.

Coincidence? I do not think so. So just stay away from pets4homes.co.uk and start to favorise another advert sites for your own safety -wether you are a seller or buyer - as what has happend to us could happen anyone due to pets4homes.co.uk

Just stay away from them and also their so called PetForums, as 'if you step into crap you'll be surely dirty'.
