We arrived home with our new puppy and come to find out she is missing a toe. I was NOT told she had a missing toe before purchase. I was cheated by Petland because their website boasts that their puppies are healthy, and see vets etc but obviously not if she had a missing toe. After calling Solution, the company that manages Petland warranty, and following their instructions on obtaining a confirmation letter from the vet I was told there is no additional steps Petland needs to take because the puppy is healthy.
#1: I can not breed her because individuals think she is inbreed, or has some type of disability. I just wanted to breed her once to pay off the $4000 plus fee to purchase her.
#2: The puppies other toe nails on that same foot look very different then the other paws. Which could possibly mean there is something wrong with her paw/toe/nail.
Petland Davie manager has yet to call me back after I have left several messages. Not cool Petland.
I have contacted the Better Business Bureau, and now will post my story on every social media platform to make people aware of my situation.
