PetersenDean, Inc. Reviews
I purchaaed the 11 solar panels system for $15,000 with understanding with 100% of my electril bill would be covered. Ira the sale rep did not have the knowledge to estimate how many panels I needed covered the bill in misrepresentation of their product, also it was the representative lack of knowledge on his part on the product that he was selling. After the system was installed, the only communication was through email for me to do the their job and I was expected to know how to turn on the system without any assistants presents from them. There was no follow up by the sales rep to see if my system is working properly. I did not know it was never properly turned on until I recived my PG&E bills for $1854 at the end of the year.
I was shocked and highly upset when I find out that solar panels actually covers only 43% not 100%. When I contacted the Petersendean for assistance to pay for the bills that pass due, I was blamed for not knowing how to do their job for operating the system correctly. The Petersendean said it was my fault for know knowing the was not turned on. There is littler to NO communication with upper management. I had called many times and left message wtih no returns call, I also emailed again and received no response. They're unwilling to do anything about it. Now I have received 15 day notice to pay my bill for $1854 before it is turn off. BE AWARE, they only want your money and will blamed you if you system does not work. Completely FAULT ADVERTISING "Trust Our Brands to Get the job done right".
Petersendean salesman Paul Wallach, when trying to sell us on a solar system lied about the system's capacity. He told us the system we were interested in would cover 80% of our energy needs. It was a very expensive system, but we figured if it covers 80% of our energy needs it's worthwhile considering that electricity prices are going up and up. We had the system installed and waited for our energy bill to go down. The difference was tiny to imperceptible. At first we thought maybe something is wrong with the system or the city doesn't read it correctly. We got in touch with the city, they came out, they checked, they told us everything was fine. We got in touch with Petersendean, they told us that often the city makes mistakes when calculating energy consumption. We went back to the city. And on and on. Until we had the city go through the past few months of energy consumption and compare it to the same time period the year before (prior to the solar panels). The city told us that the solar panels are covering exactly 43% of our energy needs. We went back to Petersendean to see what was going on... then they told us that our system is too small for our house. But we can pay them to have a bigger system installed. Needless to say, we are completely irate. The salesman outright LIED to us. We spent almost $13,000 based on that lie. And they're unwilling to do anything about it. We'll have to take legal action against these people to stop them from scamming other people.
