I ordered four Seresto Flea collars for dogs back in April of 2020 from Pet Supplies Online Store. The confirmation email came back from [email protected].
I was having trouble keeping the collars tight on the dogs. I have used Seresto collars for several years with no problem. It didn't concern me that much about them not staying tight because they didn't come off. But when I started finding ticks and fleas on all the dogs I knew something was wrong. I contacted the seller and he asked me to send him pictures, which I did. Of course I couldn't send him pictures of the fleas and ticks, but I sent pictures of them coming loose.
In the mean time, I needed new collars so I decided to order some more from a different vendor. I was in hopes that I would be refunded for the damaged ones. This time I ordered from a site called Bayer Seresto Online Store. I thought this was the manufacture's website and the collars would certainly be good from them. When I received the confirmation email it said [email protected] and also said Pet Supplies Online Store. So instead of actually ordering from Seresto, I had ordered more collars from the same ripoff seller.
I immediately contacted them and ask for a refund on the first order and to cancel the 2nd order. I never heard back from them except to say the 2nd order had shipped. I decided to wait on the 2nd order to see if perhaps these collars would be better. After a couple of weeks I contacted them to check on the order. He told me not to worry I would get it. After another couple of weeks I contacted them and ask for refunds on both orders as I had not received the 2nd order. Since I badly needed new collars I ordered them from a know good vendor and received good collars.
I contacted them again and ask for a refund or I was going to file a claim with Paypal. I also said I didn't need the 2nd order and would send them back if I got them. I never heard back so I filed cases with Paypal. I was offered a partial refund but it wasn't even half the price I paid so I refused a partial refund.
I was then asked via Paypal to return the items to the seller and I would receive the refund. I told them it would cost more than the collars just to ship them. They told me how to ship them and they would refund the shipping cost up to $30. I shipped the collars back and got a tracking number. After over a month I finally received the 2nd order of collars. I didn't even open them but kept them until I heard from Paypal. I contacted them and was again offered a partial refund on the 2nd order, which I also refused.
To bring this long story to a close, I was denied by Paypal on both cases because there was no proof of delivery. I told them they had tracking numbers and I was even reimbursed for the shipping on both cases. Apparently, the shipping method with USPS doens't provide proof of delivery, only tracking as far as when it leaves the US.
It's sad that Paypal would allow such sellers to sell conterfeit items, then do nothing to help get your money back. Stay far away from [email protected] or anything that says Pet Supplies Online or Bayer Seresto Online!
To add to this, I just happened to have some old Seresto collars that I had taken off my dogs. I decided to compare them with the junk ones before I sent them back. The old collars had the "Bayer" symbol molded in them along with a serial or lot number. The junk ones had no markings on them.
