Pet Medical Center Reviews

  • Jan 15, 2018

I spoke highly of the Pet Medical Center for several years. Did good reviews about them too on certain review sites on the internet. But in recent months things changed there and I was eventually kicked out and no longer allowed any veterinary services by them. Here is my story:

In recent months I started mouthing off to them because my dogs records got mixed up, $100 a friend donated to them for a percorten shot one of my dogs needed for her Addison's disease went missing. It was like she hadn't paid that $100. She had to wait until she got her credit card statement and show to Susie, the greedy accountant and manager there, that she had indeed paid it.

They had gotten in alot of new vet techs in recent months. It seems like everytime I go in there I see other people I've never seen before, but see one I recognize on occasion. Too many new people I think who do not know what they are doing.

Recently I got quoted a policy to which I never heard of before in all my years I been there. I figured the person must either have the information wrong somehow, or it is a new policy and Susie, the greedy accountant and manager there must be responsible and maybe using this as a ploy to get more money for the Pet Medical Center. I chewed out staff then, and I also chewed them out around the time they messed up my dogs records and the $100 went missing.

I then not only chewed that one woman out over the phone that day she quoted that policy to me, I then got online and sent an email chewing out the owner, Dr. Fennigan, and staff. Dr. Finnegan has always been kind. But when I did that and claimed it might be a ploy to get more money for the Pet Medical Center and Susie might have done that one. I never heard of that policy before and I wasn't gonna pay any extra money if I felt it was a policy that was wrong and maybe no one else did. I wasn't sure. Anyway, I then received an email back from Dr. Finnegan and Susie stating they are no longer giving me any veterinary services. That I am rude to staff on a few occasions.

While trying to go to a different vet, that vet I was trying to get into, knew some people at the Pet Medical Center and wouldn't treat my dogs either.

I have two dogs, Chloe and Lola. Chloe has Addison's Disease and must receive percorten shots she gets every 23 to 24 days. I received this news that I was no longer allowed to go to the Pet Medical Center, just short days before Chloe was due for her next percorten shot. It was originally due this tuesday, January 16th. If she doesn't get it she will get sick and die. Having problems getting into this one other clinic due to the fact they won't treat my dogs because they know others at Pet Medical Center, I was turned away from them and the appointment that was set up there was cancelled. I found another vet clinic that said they would treat her, on Saturday January 13th. I have an appointment at that particular vet clinic on Monday January 15th, one day before the shot was to be due to her. But, one doctor at that clinic came from another clinic I had problems with in the past. So now I am nervous this could blow up in my face at that clinic as well. I hope not.

Anyway, what was a great clinic to go to for many years, is no longer the same clinic. Too many new people who are vet techs who work for a little time and leave and more come in. It seems like a constant rotation of them. This is how things have been starting to get mixed up over there I figure. And I'm quoted policies I never heard of before. I figure it is the accountant Susie who may be responsible for that, as she has always seemed greedy and that policy makes it where you have to pay more money.

I had reason in recent months to complain. They threw me out. I got denied from another clinic because they knew the Pet Medical Center people and had obviously been told about me. I am warning others. They may seem nice, they do good work, but I found out their true colors. I spoke up for myself when I thought I was being handled wrongly. I got thrown out because I was rude to staff. Yes, I would be rude to staff under these conditions. I only hope the vet I'm going to tomorrow will be good as there is one of the 4 doctors there that was a doctor at another clinic I had problems with in the past. UGH!!! Does this ever stop for me?

Don't be rude to staff

Maybe you shouldn't have been a pain in the ass and you wouldn't have so many problems
