This is not a real business. Very elaborate emails, pretend to be the pet transportation company. Demand more funds/money for additional urgent ventialted crates. No puppy delivered as a result. & nbsp;
I joined a facebook group called "Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Puppies for rehoming and adoption'. There appeared to be several dog breeders and many customers in the group. I messaged back and forth with "Alicia Madison" about a puppy. She told me to Zelle $1410 to Adriana Mosley ([email protected]) for the puppy and that she would send me the puppy in two days. Two days later, I get a call from a broken English speaker from Pet Embark Transport saying they were sending me the puppy and would update me with flight information in a little bit. About 30 minutes later they called me back and said there was a problem with the puppy's carrier. I said I would contact the breeder. They said okay. I messaged Alicia Madison in FB messenger and explained the problem. She said, "I'm at a doctor's appointment and will be here all day. Can you just handle it?" Then I got another call from the person at Pet Embark Transport saying I needed to buy a new carrier for the puppy. The price was $1500. I almost paid for it until I realized this was feeling like a scam. I told both Alicia Madison and the Pet Embark guy that this seems like a scam and they both stopped responding to me. I'm glad I didn't spend the extra $1500, but still feel so stupid about getting scammed out of the $1410. I want to help others avoid this scam, if possible.
