Pet Care Veterinary Center Reviews

  • Jan 8, 2018

Took my cat for bladder blockage. He was there 7 days before they did an xray to notice he had a huge kidney stone.

Bad luck had it that on that 7th day, they were going to be closed for 2 weeks for the holidays.

It's a low cost place and it's all I can afford.

In the past they have done right by my pets, but this was unforgivable.

He was there for so long that I went to visit on the 4th day. He was brought in soaked in urine, wrapped in a urine soaked blanket.

I didn't say anything because I expected them to help my sweet cat.

So when they discovered the stone, they 'suggested' I take him to an emergency hospital because they were closed...

BUT THEY WERE OPEN WHEN HE HAD THAT STONE FOR 7 DAYS... they simply did not diagnose him.

In texts, they said a couple of times that he needed to have his p***s surgically removed... they said this AFTER they knew he had a huge stone.

Like.. remove the stone, if he's still blocked, then consider that extreme surgery.

They agreed to let him recover there because someone is there 24/7, the ER has nobody during the night.

So after the EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE SURGERY costing 1 1/2 times my monthly income, I took him back to Pet Care Center and they took him in.

This was all over the Christmas and New Year's Holidays and they simply did not want to be bothered with me or my cat.

I texted to see how he was because they had not called me and I was rudely told to PICK HIM UP.

No details about his recovery... nothing.

When I went to pick him up, 17 days had passed since I took him there.

His carrier was set on the sidewalk and I asked to speak to the person in charge who did not want to come out.

When she finally did, she screamed so many insults at me I was shocked... SURE... they don't want to be responsible for the condition of my emaciated, weak, sick cat. He lost 6 pounds while he was being neglected there.

Was going to let me leave without any medications, update or instructions. When she went back inside, another girl who was listening told me to wait and brought me some medications and instructions.

That was 5 days ago. He's still so sick and sad, I'm so worried.

I don't know where to go to file a complaint and make them pay for that surgery. IF they had diagnosed him, they were there and open to do that surgery, but they missed it or simply didn't care to examine him.

If anyone can tell me where I file a complaint to get my money back at the very least, I would appreciate it.

I sent a nice email but it's a bogus email, the domain belongs to a different company.

No website either.
