Perry Auctions Reviews
I am an FFL dealer so I ship and sell firearms all over the continental United States. I have used several auctions that have firearms for sale. I have never had any problems with anyone except Perry's Auction. I bid on several of their items but only won 2 bids. One of the items was a 2lb Taurus pistol, while the other item was a Stoeger .12 gauge shotgun. I was very happy with the bids that I won until I saw the shipping bill. These people charged me $102 on a 2lb pistol that I won with a $200 bid. That's right the shipping cost more than half of the products cost. My shotgun shipping(which was 5 times the size of the pistol) was a smooth $52. I called Perry's to ask if they had lost their mind and they gave me all this crap about it has to be sent overnight. Well it was shipped Friday and I received it Monday evening. Was that really overnight. Either these people are clueless or incompetent.
I haven't decided which just yet. Who pays $154 dollars shipping for 2 packages. Why even bid if your items cost more to ship than what they are worth.
Just for fun, I had my secretary take the same firearm that we won and boxed up. She then took it to the United States Post Office. She informed the lady at the post office that it was a firearm and that she would like to send it to Niagara Falls, New York....where Perry's auction is located. She asked for the cheapest possible fare. $16.48 was the answer for a 2-day ground shipment. Lets see. that is $85.52 less than what I was charged if my Math is correct. Stay away from these people. There is no sense in anyone being treated like this.
