clarity for a safer, clearer glass. Well this is also an untrue statement. I bought my Mazda CX-5 in October of 2016 & by May 2017 there was already a chip in my windshield. The windshield must not be that strong cause I didn't hear anything hit my windshield & I am the only one who drives it. My previous Subaru windshield would get hit by lava rocks that they used for the mountain ski towns & I never ended up with chips or cracks in my windshield. So this just sounds like they are blowing smoke up your you know what! Well anyways supposedly I got a chip in my windshield that I didn't hear or see. Turns out it was on the bottom right corner of my windshield not visible to me as
the driver cause the black liner was covering it. Before I knew it a crack was half way across the windshield. Well since their website & the dealer both made it sound like I would never have to worry about my windshield or paying out of pocket I called when I finally had the chance & schedule to get it fixed . Well they denied my claim because it was 14 days after the first incident (the chip to the lower right windshield I didn't hear or see). I'm sorry but you should sell something to someone & claim you will cover it no matter what if that is not a true statement & no where on there website does it make reference to the fact that a claim must be made within 14 days & if I missed it
somehow then it should be somewhere visible. Whatever happened to customer service? Whatever happened to honesty? I am very disappointed that I was led to believe that if I purchased this protection plan that I would actually be protected. I am now paying for something each month that I cannot use & it is so disappointing that dishonesty has gone to such great lengths to rip off people just to make a buck. If there is a policy that claims need to be made within a certain amount of time PermaPlate needs to communicate with the dealerships that customers are made aware of that so customers don't feel cheated & swindled!
I bought their services a few years ago when I bought my car, nowhere on the contract or when I paid for their services did they explain the terms of their services even when I had my original conversation with them over the phone where they confrimed that I had paid for their servies. So when I finally got a crack in my windshield I made a claim they informed me ofter that it had to be within 14 days even though that was never conveyed to me upon purchase. So I dealt with the crack. Then of course I got hit by a hail storm that made the already large crack even larger, made another claim they refused because they wont cover weather damage which is another thing they never tell you and isnt in their contract. Was annoyed at that point but let it go and dealt with it again. Then a rock hit my windshield again and the crack grew even more made a claim and they still wont honnor the fact that I submitted it within 14 days and a rock hit my windshield becasue of the previous claims I made that they denied, stating it contradicts the claims. When I explained how it didn't contradict they said I would have to accept the denial and write a letter to oen of their supervisors for them to see if they can make an accaption but that it would most likely deny still. Overall a waste of your time and money.
Permaplate is an interior warranty also a substance that they rub on your interior that protects it from scratches doress peeling excetera. So my problem back in 2015 I had a permaplate substance put on my vehicle thinking that it would protector my leather. so then in September and noticed and filed a claim because the weather was peeling causing the black leather to look endo. the claim was denied but I only knew it was denied after I finally called them to find out when were they going to let me know whether or not they were going to repair it they never contacted me. I had to contact him so when I called they told me that the claim was denied. I asked so how was I supposed to know when you did not send me a letter you did not call and inform me you did not go via email or anything. so they tell me okay you can dispute the claim. I disputed that claim they told me it was too late to dispute the claim so that didn't go through so what's a girl to do? !! Here I go again my right door right next to the window is warping the leather is warping it's lifting up trying to file a claim again and I'm being told that I can't get the application in the mail I have to go email and fill out. I wish I could do legal actions on them but I don't have the funds for a lawyer at this time. I am disabled and Ill but I really wish I could take them to the dungeons because this is a total rip-off. please don't buy an appearance package when you purchase a vehicle it's not worth it. they just take your money and they all turned out all your claims speaking from a hurt person...

Permaplate is a rippoff. They don't do anything they just want money.File a claim and they are not covering it.
