I paid Michelle Barone $3,865 for ultra shape on my back and thighs. She promised amazing results that absolutely work,, often after only one treatment and sometimes right away.She touted how great this new lazer proceedure was and no pain or discommfort at all.After my 3 treatements were over and there was absolutely no change what so ever, i asked for my money back. She stated under no circummstances did they ever refund anybodys money,, but they would "give" me three treatments of the Vela Shape which is a lazer that burns the fat off. Well, it didnt burn anything except my skin, leaving me blistered. When i showed her the picture and told her how frustrated i was and again asked for my money back i was told they would "give" me more treatments. I stated i had been calling the spa to speak with Paul Karle the owner on several occasions and he had not returned any of my calls. Michelle stated they "have great gate keepers" at the front desk andd i shouldd take the free treatments. I explained that i did not wish to be burned again either physically or financially and again asked to speak with Paul Karle. The contract states they are not responsible for any complications and no guarrantee on results.. It also has a clause that rudeness to staff will not be tolerated. They know all the angles and i suspect this is not their first rodeo.Just wish i had read all the fine print befoe i wasted a lot of time and money on these shysters/huslers. Mr. Paul Karle is still hiding behind his "gatekeepers" and still will nt respond to my calls.
I am writing to report what I think this is a fraudulate action. I went to Perk Spa for a seminar for a stomach reduction treatment. Sounded wonderful. Met with Michelle to see what my cost would be. Went home and thought about the cost and treatment I called the following Monday to see if I could meet with Micheal Agreed to paying $2149.50 for the treatment. Now, my husband finds out that he has to have radiation on a brain tumor. Called Perk Spa and left a message for Michelle that I can not proceed. No return calls from Perk Spa. Meanwhile we have been to Waterman Hospital and met with the radioligist concerning his brain tumor. This will be 8weeks every day for treatment. I called Michelle the day that I returned home, Feb. 10/2017 explaining our problem and she has yet to return the call.
I find this very disturbing when I have a husband that needs all of my support and care that this company can not even respond to any of my messages.
I would appreciate any and all help that you can provide.
Paid almost $2500.00 for treatment..was sopost to come back 11 months later for another treatment..but was out of business..i think moved to another city in florida..
I paid for a package deal on VelaShape. On 5-2-2017 I paid for a package of 5 treatments for $498.75. Then I went to Ohio for the summer and was assured this was to be schedlateuled when I returned in late October. Now they have closed the business and I just lost about $500. I am a senior and this is a crime. I previously had other services there so I assumed they would honor our agreement. They have nice presentations with a lunch to entice clients to sign up on the spot in order to get a discounted rate for services. So I have lost nearly $500 because I believed this scam.

This was advance payment for Transaction 400007 for services to Lower Face ($3295.00), with Add On: Lower Neck ($500.00). A total or $3795.00, less discount allowed of $189.75. Balance paid = $3605.00.
After having appointments on February 23, 2017, and on June 1, 2017, and another was scheduled September 7, 2017, which was cancelled upon arrival. I was told then they would call me the following week to reschedule. After not receiving that followl-up call, I went to the office and discovered the office had been closed.
I am looking for reimbursement for the services I did not receive.
Told me that my fat would be reduced, found out from a trainer from Ultrshape, that happend to be in shop on one of my sessions, that the girl that was doing these treatments was doing it all wrong. The next day she was fired.
I told them after calling up to find out everyone was let go and new management was taking over and they would make restitution by doing treatments over. I said I would go and talk to them, because I want my money back. They ripped me off for close to 7000.00.
I contracted with PERK MedSpa on Aug 8, 2017 to receive three body shaping treatments plus one skin tightening treatment described as UltraShape Power (3ea) and VelaShape (one ea). I paid a total of $3242 for all four treatments. My payment in full was accepted by Michelle Barone. After two treatments I went to my appointment for the third treatment. Upon arrival I was ushered into a back room by the new office manager "Nicole". At that time she informed me PERK MedSpa was purchased by another company and that the procedures I paid for in advance and in good faith were no longer being performed.
Nicole stated PERK MS would not provide a refund of any portion of the $3242 for the unused final two treatments. She would only offer me an "office" credit of $1086 for the UltraShape and VelaShape treatments that were no longer available by PERK MS. The office credit could only be used for their spa facials and injections that I did not want and were of no use to me. Perk MS would not refund a prorated portion of the fee I paid even though I had not and could not receive the final two treatments through no fault of my own. Without any advance notice, they discontinued performing the specific procedures they contracted to provide to me before I had received even the third of four treatments.
I firmly believe Ihat I was lied to and deceived by them as PERK MS was knowingly about to be sold to new owners who would then delete procedures I paid for. I saw no results after two UltraShape treatments. I was told that after the third treatment I would begin to see positive results in a "few" months. These procedures do not work and are worthless as evidenced by their discontinuance by PERK. I have severely diminished respect for The Villages that allows these type of business practices to be perpetrated on its trusting consumers. Buyer Beware!
I had signed a contract for 3 Ultrashape procedures, to be done each within a two week time frame.
After two visits, they put me off for an additional two weeks, at which time they were being bought by another company which I was unaware of. When I went in for my last treatment, they told me the new company no longer does this ultrashape and would not give me my remaining money back. They said I could use my remainder for one of their facial services. I do not want a facial. I want what I signed up for and since they can not provide this should give me the unused portion of my money back.
And No the treatments did not work, buyer be ware.
