This experience was bad from the start. I will try to explain to the best of my ability how entire transaction went down. We needed a new oven for our restaurant so we used pizza ovens.com. This is peerlesses retailer. They took our 5000 dollars that day and said it will ship within 10 days. After not being able to reach anyone at pizza ovens we contacted the manufacture directly as we were setting up shipping with them directly anyway.
Bryan explained to me that HIS retailer had not paid them yet so they didn't even start building my oven. Now mind you non of this is my issue at this point we paid in full at time of purchase. Now as a business owner I totally understood the situation and was very understanding. They assured me that the oven would be built and shipped that Friday. Another week and a half goes by and still nothing. Finally they get the oven built weeks after promised. We get the ovens and read thst a licensed electrician needs to hook powder to this oven for the warranty to be valid. Ok so no problem this oven is a double stack oven so it's two of the exact same ovens stacked on top of Eachother.
There is one side panel that needs removed to do this job. Electrician hooks them both up bottom one fires right up and there is power going to second oven but would not turn on. My electrician spent hours testing every wire and fuse to make sure power was running to them all. At this point I am very frustrated as I'm trying to communicate with Bryan (president of the company) who continued to insult my intelligence and continued to tell me there is no way this is there fault all ovens are tested before leaving.
Now we just got the oven and haven't even taken it apart it comes assembled. At this point I said you just have to get an electrician here to handle this he told me he wouldn't do thst that I need to pay another electriction to get on the phone with me and rediagnose the whole oven. Again I explained that I am not doing this unless he is coving the bill as this is nothing we have done. He agrees . So we bring another electrician in come to find out during there diagnoses that a wire in the back of the oven ( entire back of oven needs taken off to reach this wire was was connected to the wrong lead. Absolutely no possible way this oven was checked before leaving as there is no way it would have worked.
So with that being said Bryan admitted that he rushed his guys to get this out so there may have been a slip up. Ok understandable we're all human. I sent him an email explaining that the electrician is billing 4 hours at 65 an hour for his work. He worked way more than 4 hours going through all of this. Bryan never responded to me email. I then send him the bill .. He then tells me that he checked his logs and it shows the oven was tested so he is only paying half the electrician bill. Long and short of it Bryan was very very disrespectful and unprofessional. Then made me bring in another electrician to fix the mess up from the factory and now will not cover the charges. I have never had this bad of an experience dealing with the owner of a company in my life.
