We had our daughter registered with a CVS Pharmacy since our insurance only worked with CVS but when we told Pediatrics Associates we needed another pharmacy that closed later in the day, they referred us to another pharmacy that was not even covered by our insurance and we ended up paying cash for our kid's medicine. They had the info on their records already and didn't even have the courtesy to offer another CVS location. Pediatrics Associates staff need to inform their patients of other pharmacy locations that due work with their insurance companies instead of just handing patients off to the next available pharmacy in their database without any concerns if the patient is able to pay for it in cash or is actually covered by their insurance. Not sure why they keep patient records of their pharmacies if they send them to other uncovered pharmacies. Clients beware, Pediatrics Associates won't look out for your best interest when it comes to insurance and they have no interest in helping you "make the right decision" when it comes to using insurance covered pharmacies.
