I originally brought this as per GROUPON. As per one of the reviews It does take a month or two to even get an appointment. I was pleased with the service. I then purchased six reflexology sessions. I was comfortable and enjoyed the service. However, today I was a half hour late. It was my fault for missing my turn off and going quite a few miles out of the way. I got to Peace of mind spa 32 minutes late. The door was locked. I waited and right before 10am the owners came back after getting coffee with his family. As per their web page this is what is stated "Late arrivals will result in shortened appointment time. As a courtesy to all, we ask that a 24 hour notice be given if you need to cancel or change your appointment. For a cancellation with less than a 24 hour notification guests will be charged 50% of the treatment fee. For a no-show appointments, the full treatment fee will be charged." I was sent an e-mail back from owner. She claims I was late on previous sessions. This is a very untrue statement. In fact I always was there while another client was finishing up. Once I was there an hour early. As per their web page , "Late arrivals will result in shortened appointment time" I should have been given a 27 minute session. The owner claims "I should have pulled over and called." However I do not use my cell phone while driving. Plus they NEVER, NEVER, NEVER answer their company phone number. I have always had to leave a message. Also pulling over would have made me lose more time. I have been charged for this one hour session, Instead of getting a shortened appoint time. I just got screwed.Someone should have been there. After all my hour was fully paid. I have two appointments left. I canceled them because I no longer feel comfortable at this spa. Not to mention I have always tipped except once. Plus I bring my own lotion. Very poor customer service. I am going to file a claim in small claims court. I will let a judge decide. I do not recommend this business. Buyer beware! Here is their company policy, "Late arrivals will result in a shortened appointment time." The owner as per their own admission left after I was 20 minutes late. I waited almost a half hour before they returned to their business. I should have received the 27 minutes left on my paid hour session. Then we exchanged back and fourth e-mails. This owner practically called me a liar. Unfortunately this will escalate into a small claims suit. I want reimbursement for the minutes lost and the two additional sessions already paid for. The last two appointments I had. I canceled. Those slots filled up within a day. Would anyone feel comfortable getting a massage after being treated like this???? A massage is suppose to be relaxing. Would you get a massage from someone who created animosity in your simple request to just get the 27 minutes of foot reflexology owed. Everyone would want to be reimbursed for unused sessions to eliminate animosity and stress!!!! Being 100% disabled, I feel as though I am totally being taken advantage of! Being disabled does not mean I am stupid!!!! It is simply amazing on how your policies were revised. Magically revised!!!
