I purchased items in an auction from PCI Midwest. Unlike other PCI divisions, which I have had good experiences with, this group needs to work on customer service, politeness, and developing better company policies. After I won items in an auction, I immediately sent an email with my reseller certificate and notification that I wanted shipping on my items. Not only was I charged 125 dollars in tax for these items (some that I have still never received), despite informing them of the error I have also not been credited for this overcharge. The auction did not mention having to pay "removal fees" and only one of the many items listed said "buyer must remove", so I was shocked to be informed that my items had to be physically removed by me. These items were in MO, and I live in NC. Needless to say they overcharged me 180 additional dollars for shipping and removal fees. When 1/2 of the 1587.
00 dollars worth of merchandise arrived one month after the auction, even though my card was charged for all items the very next day, the boxes arrived mangled and open. They shipped my items by throwing my metal objects in a cardboard box with not one scrap of packing, peanuts, bubble wrap or anything at all. I ordered a set of decorative 3ft metal utensils: a spoon, fork, and spatula. Because these items were not wrapped in any way, the metal spoon broke in shipping. What good is a set of items, now that one of them is broken. I don't even know how you can break a stainless 3 ft metal spoon, but they managed to do it. I contacted them about the other 837 dollars worth of items I had yet to be shipped and their response was they are not responsible for shipping. So I asked them to refund the unshipped items because I feared they would similarly not wrap them well and they would break. They told me auction items are not returnable. To this day I am stilll owed 837 dollars of products that I already paid for back on 8/4/2016, and as of 10/1/2016 I have never received a refund for taxes, a refund for the items they broke with poor shipping, nor a refund for the unshipped 837 of products. I still buy lots of auction items, but I will never buy from this company again!
The picture via the website I placed bids on did not match what the item looked like in person. Even though they offer national sales if you can not preview the picture should be acurate.
