PayPal Prepaid Reviews
Beware! when transfering money from Paypal account to the Paypal prepaid Mastercard. It's a total scam. It advertises that you can have your money transfered to your account in 30 mins for .29 cents if you transfer to Paypal prepaid Mastercard but when you do they immediately take out $4.95 for a fee then charge you $1.00 per atm transaction and if you want your money in cash then they'll mail you a check in 10 days. Its a HUGE scam. I can't believe that Paypal would particpate in this, I emailed them about it as well. It's a bunch of oriential people I guess out to scam us silly Americans. Luckily, after calling and holding for a supervisor for over 15 mins and threatening to contact the better business bureau i received my money so I'm just warning everyone else it's a total scam. I hold Paypal responsible since they advertise it when you try and transfer your money out of your Paypal account.
The other day I had bought a Paypal Prepaid MasterCard for the fact that I had some stuff I had to get and there is a store around the corner from me. I bought the card and loaded it with $120 and went home to activate it and the website said that there was a problem with my account and to call CS. I called and they said that my card wasn't activated and then they told me if i wanted to activate it they would need my SSN#, Proof of address, And a photo ID to put into their files, but once I gave them the information they told me that it would be activated 6 hours later.
Come 2 days later i call them and they asked if i sent the info that they needed when i had sent as soon as I finished the first call and they were all accepted but they didn't activate the card, so the CS person told me that I had to wait for a text through my phone saying it was activated once my identity was confirmed even though it already was. Not only that but they charged me twice for the $4 activation fee for the card, i got charged the $4 dollars when i bought it at the store which i figured it would just be activated there but they took another 4 dollars out of the 120 i put on the card for activating the card without even activating it.
