I work for UBER and have my earnings deposited onto the Payfare MasterCard on a daily basis.
In March of this year, I made a reservation for a motel stay but cancelled it the same day. I was advised by Payfare that the refund would take up to 45 days to appear back on my card. It never came.
They keep on telling me that the funds were already deposited, but the weren't. They even sent me 'proof' in the form of a statement which in their opinion proves the funds were re-deposited. At no time since the initial transaction did I ever receive the refund. It's approaching 5 months now.
If you look at the Google reviews for this company, it appears that numerous other people are in a similar situation with Payfare. They are all irate and haven't received their funds from the company. Nothing is being done. They just keep repeating the same thing over and over.

"There customer service is non existent and if you have any issue with your account, good luck on getting someone to assist you. My money has evaporated into thin air. I sent over 20 emails and I've spoken with 4 agents after waiting a long painful hour every time. Each time I speak to an agent I'm reassured that I'll be refunded within 24 hours, but to no avail.
I would STRONGLY recommend that you avoid doing business with this company at all cost."

For example when they owe you money they put it in pending situation for at least three months or more after that they blocked your email and don't want to answer your phone calls and text messages just because they don't want to pay you your money. I have many credit cards and have never had unsolved question and have Happy to use them but for this the so called Payfare Mastercard I have to cancel the account right away. They are just wasting your time and keep your money for them. Very bad experience and unprofessional support."
