I initiated an account for my father with paw paw mail several years ago. It worked well for us when he was in good health and interested in communicating with us via email. After some time, his health declined and his lack of interest in technology as a mode of communication waned.
Via email, i contacted paw paw mail in june 2020 to cancel my account. I never heard back from them. I contacted them a second time in november and did not hear back from them within the 24 hours they promised online. I contacted them a third time in november and still have not heard back from them.
I have also called twice. I am transferred to a google voice account and nobody ever picks up. I've left voicemails.
Today, i am less patient and have filed notice with the better business burea and this scamion. I'll figure whom else i can notify and get the word out to consumers to steer clear of pawpaw mail. Thankfully it was i who was managing my dad's account. I can't imagine what it would be like if he had to deal with it. He passed away in august.
Yes, the email service does what it claims to do, but the customer service is very bad.
I have made multiple requests via email and phone to cancel my father's account with PawPawMail, which I pay for with my credit care. Granted, the amount is small, so probably stays under the radar for most elderly clients. But it appears this company is gathering money from people who no longer use their services, banking on the fact that they won't make a big issue about $8 a month.
I might need to have a new credit card number issued to solve this problem.

Still charged after cancelling subscription
I am still being charged even after cancelling subscription. They do not respond to emails or voicemails. This is a scam.
