Be cautious of a good deal that ends up being much less work then he promises. Even if Sherwin Williams comes out to your job, they do not back the painter.
Paul Sawyer will want money upfront even if you buy the materials. Consumer beware...Dont do it. He removes paint and materials (that I purchased from my home) and holds them hostage until he gets another payment.
Paul does not have a large regular crew working for him. He has a couple guys (Nate, Johnny and Kurt who are decent guys) and then hires anyone else with a heart beat to put on a Sherwin Williams T Shirt and work on your job. Unfortunately he provides these guys no tools. I had to provide brushes, rollers an extension ladder, rags etc just so they would not screw up my hard scape.
In my case, he did not even pressure wash my house which I discovered after most of the the house was already sprayed and despite requests to put primer on bare wood, some guys did and some did not as evidence from personal observation.
Mr Paul Sawyer truely upsells what he can deliver and just does not perform. He has a white Van and just bought a mustang. His phone number will most likely change buy today it is 909-735-1332. Paul advertises on craigslist- Inland Empire and does work in the san bernardino mountains, or hesperia or riverside. He will tell you that he paints at toms farms but what he wont tell you is that he cant go back there since he as no insurance.
Paul is not licensed contractor despite he telling you he is.
All I can say is that it takes a lot of "bad" for me to share my experience on this site. My intent here is only to protect anyone else who will get screwed out of thousands of dollars for a paint job that PAUL SAWYER wont deliver on.
