I have been a patient of his for approx 13 years. I had a partial made in March of 2013. His billing coordinator said my portion of it would be $436 which i paid in full at the time of service. My family and I have continued to see him every 6 months since without any issues for our check ups. I called the office in November of 2015 to make our appointments and they say they cannot make me an appointment because i have a balance on my account. I was very confused and I asked, are you sure you have the right person.
They assured me and said I owe $245 more for the partial that was not covered by insurance. I asked them why no one ever mentioned this to me and why I never got a bill or anything, they said their billing coordinator had left the practice and they were finding a lot of her mistakes. So two and a half years later, i cannot submit this claim to the correct insurance as they will not accept it after one year. I feel this is his office employees mistake and oversight and that i should not be held responsible. And to top it all off, they put it on my credit report in September of 2015, and I have still never received a bill. I think the office is trying to pull a fast one on me. I would rather it sit on my credit report than pay him another dime for his poor choice of employees!
